Is it wrong that I also rewatched that vid about a dozen times for the music.

Also:

By the same team, and sure it's only one building, but fuck me, that's one hell of a building!

Good God, that's pretty damn impressive and really awesome.

Makes me feel like I'm total shit at it, and makes me feel lazy for just making my little house (that has a basement!) near some trees and a lake....

Ok, that's just fucking insane!

That must have taken them days just to do that including all the detail work.

Yeah... when I watched that, I was thinking 'man, so should've gotten these guys to design King's Cross/St Pancras' and that was just the first half. The jaw dropped (furthest) when they started with the underground platforms and the idiotic level of detail on the walkways, overhead lighting and stairways.

am i the only one who envisioned Bowser when looking at the bottom right wall at 1:22 (before he changed it). i think he might have intended it :p especially since he clearly says "hi" just before that.

Yeah I was watching that thinking, 'Wow that's pretty cool, I wonder what they're gonna do with the inside now? Wait...where are they going? WHAT?!'

I was in awe the entire time and I'm still stuck on how detailed all that is. Amazing.

Puts my lake house to shame, I wonder how they get all the floating islands.

That's amazing, everything about it is really impressive. I'll just go back into my 'castle' with an indoor water/lava-feature I used to think was pretty bad-ass (for my design skill) and pretend I never saw that.

Me too, just watched again. The arches in the underground section... whoa, and I think they were improvised at first because one of the initial plinths was taken down and rebuilt a bit further back. Even though this looked as though it didn't have the level of planning as the Floating City, I'm still slackjawed (for all there were a few times when building started and then was redone, the sheer epic sort of makes me not care about that...).

And the chandaliers! Dear lord, those chandaliers...

Those chandeliers were awesome and have more detail in them than I thought they would have.

At the end of the video I paused it a few times just to take a better and longer look at them. How they did the arches were really cool and how the windows were done as well were neat.

Makes me want to try and build something more grand than my little house with a basement, maybe a labyrinth!

Wow, the draw distance in Minecraft is shit. Cool city, though.
it's custom, you can change the draw distance, from Silent-Hill/Turok's can't-see-shit to Fallout 3/New Vegas' holy-fuck-I-see-everything

I wish I could have thought up something that cool. My problem is that the second I start on one large project, I am ready to start another one.
