Jack White is a definite contender with all the stuff hes done. Hes an incrediblely skilled guitarist, a great drummer, plays piano, and bass. Not to mention he is a really good lyricist and knows how to write a good tune.

I also like Matt Bellamy and Josh Homme but I don't think they're on his level.

I guess saw what you like about him, I've not really got into his stuff. However, people's who's job is to listen to and assess music say that its good. Who am I to argue with them?
