I don't think I have anything incriminating to classify me as a terrorist in my house, but I do have a book from the library that I've been borrowing for about 4 years now.
I do. He uses Terror to get through to the people. That's not too different from a terrorist.corroded said:One mans freedom fighter is another mans terrorist.xxhazyshadowsxx said:Here, I made a labeling category, so we can tell the difference:Gormourn said:This. If you could be labeled a terrorist and persecuted by the government by just having things that can be used as weapons or books/materials on weapons and warfare in general... I don't know, pretty much everyone here would be a fucking terrorist.
And again, "terrorist" is just a label for a person who systematically uses terror as a means of coercion. If you don't do it or belong to groups that do it, you're not a terrorist.

A good point. Well said good sir.corroded said:Actually, ironically he doesn't use terror to get through to people, that is precisely what he doesn't do, and at no point ever intented to harm the populace. The government uses the 'threat of terror' to attempt to control the people.xxhazyshadowsxx said:I do. He uses Terror to get through to the people. You can argue that he's a freedom fighter as well, as his motives aren't for one's personal gain, but I digress.
He was responsible for the destruction of the Bailey, when it was empty. Using the Bomb as a distraction to get his message out, and i do wonder if that was a mere distraction (a dud). Even the final acts themselves didn't actually kill anyone.
He never actually killed anyone in a Terrorist act. He certainly killed, sometimes for defence, sometimes for nothing more than revenge and sometimes to achieve his goal, to over throw the government.
As i say, Terrorist is subjective at the best of times. But V clearly isn't a Terrorist, unless your definition of terrorism is 'blows stuff up'
