Injuries while gaming?

Only the first day playing Wii with four friends.

I managed to punch two people (one of them being myself, right uppercut to the chin, ow).

Someone else gripped the Wii mote so hard that her fingernails dug in to her own hands and made her bleed (yes, the wrist strap was on, she was just very very competitive and didn't notice).

All of us ignored the Wii's kind suggestions that we should take a break and all of us woke up the next morning covered in aches and pains...


I know, I know, pathetic.

Oh, and I have given myself "Gamer's Claw" (you know, when your hand is locked in to a painful cramp) but that goes away after a while and might not be considered an injury.

The one that hurt the most was the muscle in my thigh.

once while gaming i felt liquid on my feet as if i was standing in a body of water.....
my foot had been bleeding for some time and there was no wound after clean up.

so yeah that's the only injury i had. it freaked me out good.

Wait. Sometimes when I play on PC, I leave my right knee in a weird position and never move it, so it gets a little sore.

Well, there was this one time. You know that really atmospheric source mod? Creepy as hell, you get attacked by these black clouds on the first level- I really don't remember the name.
Anyway, I had a friend over, and left her in my room whilst I had a shower, telling her to play something. I come in afterwards, and she is all hunched over, clearly immersed in what she was playing. So, what do I do? Tickle her.
The resulting scream from her, coupled with the swift double elbow to my face, makes for a very painful memory. So, the lesson here is, don't fuck around with people who are playing scary games.

I hurt sometimes my hand for hitting it on the table a few times, while playing css. Besides that I never had any injuries.

Note that I do have pre-existing shoulder conditions...

when i was younger i shared a room and i was playing crash bandicoot (on the ps1 of course) well i finally got past a level i was having trroble on so natrually i cheered for joy then i fell of the top bunk of the bed and broke my arm and also landed on the controller which hurt like hell
