Injustice 2 Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle trailer

A new trailer has been released for Injustice 2 featuring Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle. If the trailer features some story elements, then it seems Blue is working with the Dark Knight. Wonder Woman looks like she'll be a blast to play again. I'm liking that move she uses to stab Atrocitus with her sword and shield. The game looks nice. [hr][hr][hr]
Blue Beetle has been confirmed for Injustice 2!

I've wanted him in since I played the first game. I can't wait to get my hands on him! I'm still hoping Static, Firestorm, and Swamp Thing get added. God, I'm so excited!

Yeah, I do think the faces look a little off, but considering the game doesn't come out till next year, there's tons of time for them to polish the whole thing.

Swamp Thing would be great! I'm really hoping for Darkseid, Braniac, Metallo (later Metallo, when he could create guns and what-not), and Spectre. I think they should have Mister Mxyzptlk as a DLC too.

So far it's a sad looking game.

Only good thing I have to say about it is that at least their roster might be more diverse from the two trailers.

I hope the story is at least is decent. It's the only reason why I tried the first one when it was placed on PS+.

Gotta be honest going of Nether Realms past record and what I am seeing of this game as well as their plans on DLC I am not impressed with it at all. They really need to get their models sorted out it just lacks in every way compared to every other fighter out or at least ones of comparable scope.

They almost always pack their games with quantities of content which I appreciate although MKX was a step down in this regards but they really need to step the quality up. Then again why bother they have made a very successful go of selling fighters that dont stack up to the competition in terms of actual gameplay. Gotta say though usually their marketing is on point at least on making it visible to a large amount of people who dont particularly care to much about gameplay and thats fine I guess but its not for me.

What annoys me about InJustice is that it's considered canon alongside the comic so there are a bunch of characters who won't be in it because they're straight-up dead. So if you want Jon Stewart, Guy Gardener, or Kyle Rayner than you're SOL (unless they come back as a Specter Corp).

As for this, WW was a no-brainer and I recall liking her in the last game. Blue Beetle got me excited but there's always going to be a part of me that's disappointed when it isn't Ted Kord. I really like Jaime Reyes but I also really like Kord too, especially since having Kord in the game would open up a door to allowing Booster Gold.

Its comicbook canon dude. It changes so much that to even call it canon is disingenuous. All they have to do is say this is alternate universe Earth-9987BXaaTR_3, where Jon Stewart is alive.
Works for literally every other problem in comics.

Where does it say it takes place in the timeline of the first game (which itself was an alternate timeline outside of mainstream DC continuity)? As the poster above me said, it could take place in a different timeline or the main DC timeline.

Kenbo and Silent are right; There are tons of easy ways to get tons of characters into this game. Even in 'solid canons' from the past, characters have existed from outside of those established universes; like those times Huntress was the daughter of Batman from another universe...and a lot of Booster Gold stories involve multiverse shenanigans.
