I had in my mind a very serious thread again I wanted to discuss about.......but you know what? I think of something else not "so" unpleasant Thread:

As I said to my title, please tell a weird thing you do in your daily life, but it is not affect somehow your mental health because you don't care or the other simple say they don't care or don't judge you for that.

Me first:

Well, a very odd habit I have is when I shave myself [my beard], I drink at the same time Coca Cola Light.
Very odd, but this really make my shave more enjoyable.

So weird things we do that other people DON'T find weird?
I like to play with my hair, it's a habit I got when I was little and saw my mom play with hers,
I also smell the inside of a cup before I drink out of it.

For habits other people DO find weird...
I talk to myself, full conversations. It helps me think, but people look at me like I'm crazy.

No strange to me at all.
I think it is normal to me to talk to yourself. As you said it is very helpfull to focus on something you want "organise" in your mind.

I used to get teased for talking to myself in High School, although since I've been on this forum, I've found a ton of people do it.
If I do it in public or a family member walks in on me, I get strange looks and the whole situation becomes awkward.

I think what you're looking for are "quirks."

Something that I do is I twist my hair.

People don't judge me for it, and it often helps me think as my thoughts get going.

The downside to it, though, is that I twist my hair a lot, to the point of bundling strands of it into large knots, which I sometimes accidentally tear out when trying to undo the knot, causing bald spots on my head.

I'm a notorious self-talker. It helps me think and work through problems I run into at work. Most of my coworkers are used to it but the new ones find it a little odd. Many just chalk it up to me being the quirky IT guy.

Thats what happens when a bunch of crazy people all gather in one place.
What are you talking about we're not crazy.
I take offense to that statement, how dare you sir.
[HEADING=3]I CHALLENGE YOU TO A DUEL![/HEADING]

No not that kind of duel. The kind with swords and guns and stuff, that kind....yeah.

[small]Maybe we are a little crazy.[/small]

[sub][sub] Ok maybe we're completely crazy.[/sub][/sub]

I do that often, but that's partially due to me having Dual Personality Disorder. Gets a bit strange when I suddenly realise I've been having a conversation with myself when it feels like an entirely different person... yeah...

I also tend to do everything in beats of four. Knock on door? Tap tap tap tap! Short clap? Tap tap tap tap! Scraping the remains of godawful military food into the bin? Tap tap tap tap!

THAT has nothing to do with my mental status though, more of a habit I picked up after watching a certain tv show.

Weird things huh. Besides normal nail biting habits, I have this stupid habit of biting the inside of my cheek pretty awfully when I'm nervous or in deep thought. People just think I'm standing there with my thumb on my cheek looking quite intelligent, when it's the opposite. Heh.

Also I'm 23 year old female who still sleeps with a stuffed dog under her arm. T_T

That's not weird at all. I'm a 23 year old female and I have a number of plushies on my bed. Including two jumbo lion king plushies, a Cheshire cat, a dolphin pillow pet, a giant stuffed clown fish and Reshiram Pokedoll.

I'm not alone! xD A lot of friends get a giggle out of it. I have a ton of plushies in the room, but I cant possibly sleep without my little puppy.

I like to watch cartoons. I like superhero shows like Young Justice, but mostly anything related to the Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I watch new episodes of old shows I used to watch sometimes to keep up on the mytho. Like pokemon or Naruto.

I meow to my cat. She meows back. Last night I called her over a wall not by name, but by meow. She meowed (very loudly!) back. So I opened the door for her.
She likes to meow when she enters a room, so I meow back at her, and we have a brief "conversation".

Everyone outside of my family thinks that's weird. But they don't understand how close me and my cat are, in terms of cat/human relationships.

I don't see how it's wierd...

When Im tired or deep in thought I pick/rub the corner of my ear. Its something Ive done since a little kid and just never stopped doing. The corner of my left ear is actually slightly pointed where the cartilidge has shaped.

Oh it's so weird to like quality shows. Yep. So totally freakish.

Nah I do that too. I let him inside and go "Hey Kitty" and he goes "Mrow" and I go "Mroo?" and then he goes "Ah" and then goes and noms some food. He always says something to people now, he's figured out that's how we communicate, and he wants to join in. It's so cute.

That sounds.... absolutely adorable.

My cat likes to defend me and my bedroom, my room is his territory and whenever anyone else tries to enter, he'll walk along the door frame and meow at them loudly to keep them from coming in. I always imagined he's cussing them out in cat.

Even worse, I'm a 23 year old MALE with a camouflage teddy bear, two cuddly Bulbasaurs, a Belossom, a Meowth, an Hootoot, A Pikachu, an Eleckid, a Slowking and all four Ninja Turtles (that's only the ones I have at uni, too. a mere fraction of the entire collection). And I'm straight. This is also one of the reasons why I'm single.
