I meow to my cat. She meows back. Last night I called her over a wall not by name, but by meow. She meowed (very loudly!) back. So I opened the door for her.
She likes to meow when she enters a room, so I meow back at her, and we have a brief "conversation".

Everyone outside of my family thinks that's weird. But they don't understand how close me and my cat are, in terms of cat/human relationships.

I don't see how it's wierd...
I try to do that with my cat, but then he stares at me like I'm stupid. It hurts me. :(

That's not weird at all. I'm a 23 year old female and I have a number of plushies on my bed. Including two jumbo lion king plushies, a Cheshire cat, a dolphin pillow pet, a giant stuffed clown fish and Reshiram Pokedoll.

That is absolutely adorable. I want one now. :D

As for my weird thingamabob, I like to talk to myself while I play video games or do schoolwork. It helps me focus.

Even worse, I'm a 23 year old MALE with a camouflage teddy bear, two cuddly Bulbasaurs, a Belossom, a Meowth, an Hootoot, A Pikachu, an Eleckid, a Slowking and all four Ninja Turtles (that's only the ones I have at uni, too. a mere fraction of the entire collection). And I'm straight. This is also one of the reasons why I'm single.
I love Pokemon plushies, especially the pokedolls. I mean how is this not awesome?
If she can't appreciate that, she's not the right girl for you man. I would love a magikarp though, they're impossible to find.

I have Trichotillomania. Google it. I shave my head if it looks particularly bad, and now I actually spread it out so there's (usually) not any baldspots, but my hair in always noticably thin. Most people don't say anything, or don't care. I don't particularly care what others think, but I don't like looking like a skin head. Still, I've learned to live with it.

Funny story, last week a guy on my soccer team asked me "How's your meth lab doing?" I had no idea what he ment by that at first, partly because I derped and didn't make the connection, partly because no one ever really says anything, and partly because I cared so little I gave up on it in less than a minute. I assume he ment my hair, and not because I overheated and got sick that game.

Fucking Sun. It was cool and cloudy all fucking day, and you come out as the teams were going to their positions? Gets 10 degrees hotter in like 5 minutes and I'm stuck running my ass off to the guard the fastest guy in the league because no one else can. DAMN IT SUN! IT'S BECAUSE I'M SCOTTISH ISN'T IT! YOU STARS ARE ALL RACIST!

I suppose my seeing of the sun as my natural enemy is also weird. But lot's of (first world) people hate the sun right? Right!?

I open my mouth unconsciously when I'm concentrating, and kind of lick at my lower lip. So I stand there with my tongue kind of sticking out whenever I do anything seriously focused. It looks ridiculous, but I don't care to put in the effort to quit.

I also do that thing Awkward Zombie brought up, where I make the same expression as the person I'm drawing at the time.

I also yell at my video games, a lot.

I think what you're looking for are "quirks."

Something that I do is I twist my hair.

People don't judge me for it, and it often helps me think as my thoughts get going.

The downside to it, though, is that I twist my hair a lot, to the point of bundling strands of it into large knots, which I sometimes accidentally tear out when trying to undo the knot, causing bald spots on my head.
Just tell them its the only way to get an interesting and intelligent conversation going :D

I sometimes sing out loud about whatever I'm doing, for example I sing to my laundry about matching up socks. Most people think it's cute rather than weird, happily ^_^

My one weird habit that I do get judged for when I do it subconsciously in public is pulling out my eyelashes/eyebrows (a condition called trichilomania), it doesn't hurt me, I never mean to do it and I don't do it anywhere near enough to cause bald patches but people still think it's really weird.

when I am using my headphones, if I only have one in, I hold the wire of the other one in my mouth. I'm not sure if that's weird or not.

Heh, I like to sing while I am working at my shop too. No to sing normally, but most of the times I whistle or burble the song I like XD.
But is this really weird? They never told me something about it. Plus when we don't have a lot of work, we put songs to Youtube and sing a little :p

I'm not alone! xD A lot of friends get a giggle out of it. I have a ton of plushies in the room, but I cant possibly sleep without my little puppy.
Lord knows how many plushies I have (and continue to accumulate). But one thing is for sure, if I don't have TonTon and my squishy pillow with me; I'm in for a rough night.

Oh I don't mean songs from the radio, it's more like sing-talking to my laundry, drawing, moths etc, I shall now sing you the song I sang earlier while dying a wig;

'Purple's the best, whoo! This dye is so fantastic~! Getting it right, whoo! Though it's also colouring all this plastic~!'

It is pretty weird, but no one holds it against me :D

I pick up my cat and carry him around like a baby! :D

(Kind of odd seeing a 6 ft.1" 21 year old dude carry a cat around his house. But I just love to show him affection. Even when he's not very keen about it (very tolerant cat, only hates being tickled on the belly))

And I do talk to myself a little when I'm trying to work things out, or when I'm by myself.

I bite my fingernails, which drives my older brother crazy, but I can't really stop doing it, (though I don't do it nowhere near as much as I did when I was a kid. That stuff I did back then has permanently altered my fingernails (I actually have slightly convex nails on my index fingers))
Nobody has ever really called me out on it apart from him though. (Its barely noticable, well, unless you look at the thumbs...)

Same for me too!
Whenever I'm trying to rationalise something or think about an argument I end up talking to myself about both sides and which seems right...

Let's see:

I will talk to myself, either out loud or just in my head. Sometimes it is just a one on one conversation, other times there are multiple points with multiple different voices.

I will stare off into space at the drop of a hat, sometimes it is because I'm thinking of something interesting and it goes from there, or I just might zone out completely for no better reason than I felt the urge to.

I tilt my head from side to side, you know the way that a dog does. This will happen if i don't understand something or if a conversation, between me and a real person, is very long.

And I will typically walk up stairs, in my house or a family members house, on all fours, just because.

Hah, yeah, I'll do that when I'm writing code.

It's really difficult not to. Saying what I'm trying to do out loud helps me think of what I need to type.

OT: Hm... Well, there's the talking to myself.

I crack my neck, back, shoulders, elbows, wrists and fingers quite often. A lot of people dislike it and find it strange.

If I ever get a roll from a deli, it's a chicken fillet roll with lettuce and tomato. Every time I have to tell them that the order the fillings go in is lettuce, tomato, chicken, otherwise stuff starts falling out.

Very often, I will find myself drifting off in the middle of conversations. Most of the time it'll be staring out a window or something, but occasionally I'll be just sitting there staring straight at someone. It makes people uncomfortable. A lot.

I talk to myself all the time, both to work stuff out in my head and also because there aren't a lot of people for me to talk to about things I'm interested in.

Also, apparently I'm the only person int the world who will read a book or see a movie or play a video game and then want to discuss it. Like seeing "Amazing Spider-man" or "Dark Knight rises" and having an opinion that could fill an essay, whereas most people, their opinion seems to be "I like it" or "I didn't like it" but can't articulate why. Apparently, a lot of these people don't think I like anything because I criticize.

Not true. I like a lot of things despite being able to criticize. I think it makes it better that something is good despite having flaws.
