Insane urges you'll never follow up on

Hi Escapist. For some reason I really, really want to swallow a pair of scissors and I have no idea why. I will never do it of course but for some reason I look at these scissors and that thought arises.

If I sit next to an emergency exit on a plane, I always have this weird thought:

"What would happen if I tried to open this door"

Now I am not crazy, and would never do such a thing. And frankly I hope there is security in place to prevent the door from being opened in flight.

There is over a ton of pressure on the door, so unless you get possessed by a demon you won't be able to open it. It's also a criminal offense in some places so if you do get caught trying you will just look like an idiot and probably go to jail...unless of course you're possessed.

I occasionally feel the urge to jump from a really tall building. Or bridge. Or just anything high.

I get that same urge... but I act on it. With proper training, almost anything is survivable.

Edit: As I read the posts, I realize that I have done most of these insane things. I must be totally crazy.

Erm, I'm not looking to survive it, is the thing. Hence the INCREDIBLE feeling of vertigo this inspires.

Then I would recommend that you stay away from high places. And maybe see a councilor. Seriously, it would help with those feelings.

Sometimes on the train I get the strange urge to punch the nearest person. As an example to the rest of the carriage to stop bothering me.

Also, sometimes I see a girl I find attractive and I get the urge to try and talk to her.

I often get the urge to play with knifes in a... Insane way. To say the least. I mean stuff like seeing how it would feel to put it straight through my hand or arm or something. I know it would most likely hurt like hell, but I find lots of stuff that are supposed to do it not actually doing so. <.<

Defend my self. I have this urge to be a smart ass so that one of my not so good friend friends attempts to hit me. At that point I grab their wrist twist their arm behind their back. I go home free because it was self defence. Just a sort of "test my abilities" kinda urge. I often wish that some of the dicks who make fun of me would give kme a reason tho beat the crap out of them but I refuse to do so until they start it.
