First of all, this is a serious thread, I'm not trying to be funny or talk about paranormal stuff.

Tonight's a full moon, and I've come to realize something. Whenever this happens, I become restless and shit. No, I'm no werewolf or sparkling vampire, I just become very agitated and I feel very energetic. Do you guys feel the same? I know certain animals do, but is this stuff for real or is it just a coincidence? Does the moon affect people behavior too?

The only thing the moon affects is how stealthily I can sneak around at night : P

But to be more serious I'm unaffected by the way the moon is, so I'm not really at liberty to give an opinion. Perhaps you can find some articles on it though, these are the interwebs.

Whether it be mental or a spiritual thing, people seem to draw energy from that certain phase of the moon. I, myself, get a bit of a boost off of a new moon. It's not an uncommon thing, though, so don't worry about insanity.

The levels of light will subtly change your brains chemical balances. It is the way we react to our surroundings. You probably just have a greater imbalance when this happens than most people do.

The earth's rotation and magnetic pull is affected by the cycle of the moon. Many things including rises in crime are associated with the full moon. Because every person has a magnetic field surrounding their body the magnetic pull of other things like the earth or the moon can affect how we feel. So to be straight forward you are not at all unusual in that you feel different during the full moon. ITS SCIENCE!!!!

I get that way, not exactly restless, per se, but I get a sense of awe. Seeing Luna in her full beauty is always a wonder to behold.

Sometimes, I just like to be up at 2 in the morning when Luna is full, and just look at how she illuminates the landscape in a blue glow.

Yes, the Earth's moon is named Luna. I call her by her name. I also call our sun Sol.

Have you recently grown girl parts?

It's common for women to feel restless and agitated around a full moon, many claim it's because the moon controls their cycles (and as such are referred to as lycanthropes), but this has no real scientific standing (i.e. bullshit). But it is a common issue for women.

Biometrics. I get headaches during bad windstorms. People's bodies react to all the stimuli out there differently, and that can include the lunar phases (which affect magnetic fields) weather, tides, even the time of day can affect people.

Personally, the full moon just makes me more aware of my surroundings when I'm outside at night.

Nope.
Then again, I'm one tough ************. (that's just as retarded as it seemed in my head)

So, no, it doesn't affect me, though I know some girls who say they can't sleep when it's full moon, so it probably has some FULL LIFE CONSEQUENCES!

The word "lunar" comes from the Latin "Luna" from which is also derived words such as "lunacy", "lunatic", "loon" etc. So this is not an uncommon observation. It however has a very mundane, non-spiritual explanation.

When there is a full moon, there is more light at night than normal, because the moon is reflecting more light from its surface onto Earth. Therefore, more burglaries, night-time crimes and general crazy antics happen due to the greater nighttime visibility allowing people more freedom to move around at night in places where there is no artificial lighting. That's why traditionally the "freaks come out" when there is a full moon - because they can see better with the extra brightness. Animals also can see better in the full moon and so extra activity happens there as well.

If you're restless during the full moon, it's because the extra light is making your brain more alert and active. The brain responds to light patterns, hence why we generally prefer to sleep at night. This is pretty normal.
