Yeah, I am aware of the Wilhelm Scream. I stumbled on the Wiki article one day. Apparently, when you kill a poor, insane sod from long distance who's stopping you from crossing a bridge, he lets out a Wilhelm. Interesting.

i didn't know it had a name, but i've heard it in a lot of movies. lotr2 in helm's deep comes to mind

You are speaking of God of War, when you use your newly aquired Zeus Thunderbolt ability to kill a man holding a lever to keep the bridge down. It is one of the more famous videogame examples of the Wilhelm Scream (despite being one of the worst, since the scream is silent and covered up by other, louder, noises)
