I'm wondering, because negative mental health seems to be central, would a character with multiple personalities be possible?
This would be reflected in two dream forms that are randomly cycled through.

Name: Malik Nielson
Age: 19 (or 16)
Original Appearance: Malik is, in the real world, 5'8 and has a slim figure. His hair is jet black, with blue streaks dyed into it, and his eyes are bright green with dark central heterochromia (a dark ring around his pupils). He normally wears black t-shirts under checked shirts and dark blue jeans.
Dream Appearance: In the dream world, Malik's traits engulf his body. His eyes gradually turn inky black, his hair turns dark blue, and his body becomes eerily tall and skinny (think Jack Skellington-like).
In Remus' form, his features become more lupine. His teeth grow and sharpen, his hair turns silver-grey, his eyes turn yellow, his lower face becomes snout-like and his nails elongate. Remus's voice deepens and he is capable of fearsome growls.
Personality: Malik suffers from multiple personality disorder.
One personality suffers schizoid personality disorder, and therefore does not form relationships and is apathetic, cold and cynical. He has gained an uncanny ability to judge strangers' personalities, which often manifests itself in the form of a voice in his mind telling him what he has picked up on.
The other personality suffers from a phobia of all cats, and as such has grown to love canines. He obsesses over them, and has a wall covered with photographs and drawings of wolves. He also calls himself Remus.
Dream Powers: Malik can occasionally hear thoughts of other people, however they are normally twisted, personal interpretations of the thoughts which are often very paranoid. They grow clearer as Malik trusts the person whose thoughts he is hearing.
Remus gains increased speed and strength, and can later speak to his Spirit Guardian.
Spirit Guardian: Malik's guardian is a wraith-like creature, which wraps itself around his body and rests its head on Malik's shoulder. It often speak to Malik, but in the same manner as his auditory hallucinations.
Remus' guardian is a large wolf which is unable to speak English
Backstory: Malik is an orphan. His mother was killed in a burglary when Malik was five. The burglar had accidentally let a cat in, and slit Malik's mother's throat. Malik discovered the body, and blood-soaked cat. This was repressed, which created the second, felinophobic, personality.
Malik's father committed suicide shortly after this, when the stress of work, losing his wife and his son showing signs of schizoid personality disorder got to him.
Malik was never fostered or adopted, and his apathy increased because of it. This worsened his situation.

Accepted; the fear of cats and the traumatic loss of both parents give me something interesting to work with. In light of his phobia and multiple personality disorder it makes sense that he would be targeted regardless of his age so I'm fine with him being 19. Dream Appearance: Dylan looks like your typical mad scientist in the dream realm. His hair turns white and he wears a lab gown complete with gloves and goggles.
Personality: Dylan is usually an easy going person. Normally, he's calm, relaxed and prefers to think things through. Although he can be ignorant and sadistic at times, he tries to be nice to other people. He is naturally curious, and when he wants to know the answer to something, he will try to find it using any means necessary. He would probably disassemble or rip open something that interests him.
Dream powers: He can create objects out of pure thought. the more complex the object is, the harder it is for him to make it. He also needs to know how the object works before he is able to create it himself.

Knowledge comes naturally for Dylan. He's a straight A student even though he doesn't try that much. His parents don't expect much from him either, he just enjoys learning things. This made him unsociable. He mostly spends his time in his home made lab. Aside from doing experiments, he also likes to play video games and watch movies, usually sci-fi themed. Although he's very rational and he thinks scientifically, he's still afraid of ghosts.

He usually wears a t-shirt of his current favorite band or rapper and jeans with a pair of black and white jordans.
Dream Appearance: In the dream world Marcus eyes become a swirl of colors, shifting between every shade and hue. His clothes and hair also become splattered with paint.
Personality: Marcus is friendly and very compassionate, but he is usually the quiet one when among a group of people. He feels very uncomfortable in large groups of people, even his friends, and rarely speaks up unless he is spoken to in a group. One on one he is far more talkative and animated, but still prefers to listen. Marcus also had deep seated anger management issues. Though he does not have a short fuse,when angered he has explosive, violent outbursts, that he only hazily remembers. As such he avoids confrontation and generally tries to avoid trying or stressful situations.
Dream powers: In the dream world Marcus is able to secrete paint from his fingers and paint things into the dream world. The more detailed the painting, the more powerful or effective the image will be.
Marcus is able to control the color of his own skin, hair and clothing, allowing him to either blend in with his surroundings like a chameleon, or vibrantly stand out. When experiencing intense emotions he may also involuntarily change color to match.
Spirit Guardian: A giant, hulking, humanoid mass of paint. The paint golem is able to change its size and shape and while it cannot speak it can paint messages in the air or onto surfaces.

For years Marcus was shell-shocked; he wouldn't speak to anyone and would snap on the smallest of slights. Then when Marcus was twelve he discovered dozens of paintings and a paint set in the attic. He asked his father about it during one of his rare lucid moments and found out they were his mother's painting and paint set. The painting were beautiful and Marcus was astonished that someone in his family had the ability to create something so gorgeous. Marcus immediately took up painting for himself. Teaching himself to paint proved therapeutic to Marcus, it gave him a little self-worth and he began to be more social and less angry over time. Last year, Marcus's father died after crashing his car drunk-driving. Marcus much to his relief is living with his grandparents now. While he is healing, Marcus still struggles greatly to control his anger, retains his social anxiety, and is afraid that he will become like his father.

So is this still happening? It's been a while since there's been any activity, and it seems like we have enough sheets to get going, although I don't actually know how many Voidrunner wants when we start. I'm open to waiting a little longer, but I just wanted to see if this is still going to happen.
Hey, based on the lack of activity, I think I'm going to be on the lookout for another RP if there's nothing going on here by the weekend. I really don't want to ditch this RP because the concept seems really fun and I enjoyed thinking up the character, but I also want to start as soon as possible.
Not sure if this is still up, but here's a sheet, anyway. Be a shame if this never saw the light of day.

Original Appearance: Pale skin, dark hair, dark eyes (needs glasses), 5' 8", nervous demeanor, wears a checkered red and yellow three piece suit with matching hat (an amalgam of his favourite suit and his red and yellow pyjamas. It's kind of a tradition of mine to make all my characters wear suits), messy hair, thin lips
Dream Appearance: Skin of ashen grey, his black irises expand to cover the entirety of his eyes, he becomes slightly shorter, his hands become wicked looking claws and his teeth become brokwn and jagged, while at the same time, his lips develope a bluish hue, he shivvers near constantly and his eyes become larger and slanted outwards. This form is the result of his feelings of alienation, his revenge fantasies, and his nightmares of becoming prey, but we'll get into that later.
Personality: Very confused. His life has changed dramatically, and he doesn't know how to take it. Wesley is compassionate and helpful, but also scared, confused and angry, causing the dreamworld around him to look [i/]chaotic[/i] (see where I'm going with this?). This tends to fit him, as he is firmly on the side of chaos, partially blaming the order of society for his ills. Has recently discovered that he's gay. Diagnosed with severe anxiety disorder.
Dream Powers: Depending on his state of mind, Wesley can either become a savage beast capable of ignoring injury for a brief period, or send the the immediate area into a state of flux that makes it malleable and allows for faster movement and higher levels of agility (on both sides). Can only do the former when sufficiently scared, the latter when content.
Spirit Guardian: A fast-talking sentient shadow. Drip a drop of ink into some water, now imagine a human standing in the middle of it who is only visible if part of the ink cloud is obscuring him/her. Voice like like a musical score. Two glowing yellow marbles roughly wher it's eyes would be are the only parts of itconsistantly visible.

Wesley Golovkin was the English child of Russian parents, other children treated his accent and demeanour as little more than a curiosity, but when it was time for high school, Wesley was a wreck. His nervous demeanour had evolved to the point where he had to be very heavily medicated to function at all. Throughout hig school, his grades suffered due to the bullying he recieved and his mental state. Nevertheless, he managed to pull himself together during his last year enough to apply for a small college outside Newcastle. During the hisngap year, he found something that troubled him; he was gay. The thought of all the bullying that would result from this drove him into a neagative spiral, were all the neuroses that plagued him so much before had returned worse than ever. That was when he stopped sleeping...
