The mind is a strange thing. No one fully understands it. Some people are prisoners of their own mind, never able to escape the horrors within. The mind, having endless possibilities and an infinite source of imagination, can be a person's worst nightmare, or their best dream. With no hope of escape, they live inside their mind cage, frightened, saddened, angered. They are alone, if they are lucky. No one wants to have a shadowy figure lying on the verge of the mind's darkness, watching them, waiting to strike. But they have no control over it. It's the mind, playing tricks on them, not allowing them a moment's peace.

A mysterious place, filled with horrendous creatures and frightening imagery. Where could it be located? Who would bring them there? And for what purpose? Those are questions a few unlucky individuals will have to answer while fighting for their survival.

Welcome to the interest thread to The edge of insanity, a Horror RP GMed by Lambi [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/view/Lambi] and I. In this thread your character is trapped, trapped in a insane world were everything seems to be out to get them. Will they get out? Or will they succumb to the horrors of the world? Who knows? Not I, not Lambi, not anyone. All we know is the horrors hat your character will face.

Biggest fear: Dieing with no one loves around to give him comfort.

Bio: Tyler had a good life so far. Caring parents, good friends, and doing ok in school. He wasn't a genius like some of his friends or the other students were, but he wasn't a dumbass either. But lately he been having some weird dreams, or nightmares would be a better word. Each time he feel like he getting deeper and deeper until finally he won't be able to wake up one day.

Well, without saying, or spoiling, too much, it's about a few individuals that have been captured and need to find their way out of the place they're in. On their way, they'll need to fight creatures and hope to not go insane on the way.

Biggest fear: The dark; the clausterphobic feeling of being alone in utter darkness, the thought of wandering for a lifetime through an endless void alone.

Bio: As a kid he went to halloween parties, however during one the power had went out, all the lights were off yet the sound effects remaind due to there batteries, it scared him for life.

Appearance: dark brown, scruffy hair. Very dark brown eyes. Most people think they are black. Medium build.

Age: 27

Biggest fear: Un clear water. Lake,pond etc.

Caused when playing half life and fish jumped out at him. This then happened in real life.

Bio: Dan had a form of insomnia, that keeps him awake with recurring nightmares. He grew up into a BRITISH middle class family and had a crappy childhood. His parents never noticed. They passed away when he was ten. He grew up in an orphanage. When he grew up, he fell in love with a girl at the orphanage. He got married to her and lived happily ever after. No they didn't. Dan became a policeman shortly after and was driving through town with his wife when he heard his text alert. beep beep. He looked at his phone and crashed, killing his wife. And his son. He was still alive. Now, he lives to prove himself.

Biggest fear: Jonathan is frightened by the mere mention of a cat, cats are the one true evil to Jonathan.
Bio: Jonathan was a normal child until his 9th birthday. Jonathan and his friend Freddy rode their bikes to a nice cliff ledge view. then out of a bush came a strange white cat. Freddy dared Jonathan to pet the cat. When Jonathan finally gave in and touched the cats hare the cat bit his finger. Jonathan then bursted out with screams of pain, Freddy was so startled he tripped off of the ledge of the cliff and perished. Jonathan was never the same again.

Appearance: Theo is a black, athletically built man who stands at 5"10'. He has brown eyes and is shaven bald. Most of the time he is wearing a shirt, tie and trousers. Theo has a small scar on his forehead.

Age: 33

Bio: Theo works in an office. Like most people, he just ploughs he way through the day waiting to go home. In his spare time, Theo likes to go running and practise for various sporting events. When Theo was in his teens he experimented with drugs such as Marijuana but never found them enjoyable, and received the scar on his head after falling under the influence. Theo's mother died of cancer when he was in his late twenties, but his father tries his best to keep strong relations and be supportive.

Biggest fear: Sharp objects.

That kind of feels sparce to me, I'm used to writing up huge character sheets, sorry for that!
