Interesting North Korea documentary

i found this really interesting documentary on North korea, which is really rare because its very hard to get into north korea but any way they go through all of this in the video(s)
i thought you guys would like this because it truly shows the insanity of the north korean government it comes in 3 parts and is about an hour long so watch it and comment on what you think because it is pretty cool at least i think so, its not too often that we see the inside of north korea

I'm South Korean so I know a lot about North Korea. They think their Leader is god. Whenever something good happens to them they give think their Leader did it for them...

god, that was some weird stuff. my brother studied them, apparently you can liken some of the cities to silent hill and not be that far off. there is no one on the streets and you only see someone when you go to a shop.

Are the North Koreans really so brainwashed they believe a nuclear holocaust is the best way to get the world to pay attention to it? Because-along with China- it strikes me as one of those countries whose leaders couldn't care a shit if they blow the planet apart.

Maybe not a nuclear holocaust but most of the population is brainwashed to the point where they still think they are fighting the "imperialist" forces..Its hard for us in our sort of countries to believe this can happen but think about a place where ALL information is controlled and from birth you are drummed with political propaganda on a massive scale with nothing from the outside world for comparison..This was a compelling part of that documentary above where at the end he was singing a Sex Pistols song and they just had no clue what he was doing or what was going on.

I have seen quite a few documentaries on North Korea as I find it to be like looking at a place that has just stayed stagnant in time and its actually quite eerie that this sort of world can exist is what we consider "modern day". One of the documentaries had a comment that after visiting North Korea they now knew even less about it, as their visit is such a carefully constructed and managed event.

This was...interesting. I usually try to not judge how people live in other countries as long as it doesn't involve death, but damn those guys are batshit. It's quite scary to think about how much indoctrination is necessary to keep the populace from revolting...
