My little sister completed the IB last Summer; there's a crap ton of homework involved, but she really got a lot out of it. She's only a few months into uni, but coping admirably.

That's nice, one of the ,reasons for me wanting to go into IB is that I'll get to skip a year of university if I manage. Of course my main reason for wanting to go is that some of people in my school are turds, and if I go to IB I will never EVER have to see them again.

Anyway, how aobut some entrance essay tips, it doesn't even have to be for the IB prgramme. Entrance Essay tips would be great.

I think getting away from some assholes in your school is a totally acceptable reason for considering the IB. You'll get more out of your education if you're happier while studying.

I'm afraid I've been out of full time education way to long to give essay tips. This might be useful though. It's not exactly what you're after, but there's some general advice there that could be helpful.

Edit~

Just came across a fairly depressing article on the subject of the IB's acceptance in America. Some people, huh?

Hmm reminds me kind of the way videogames are blamed for bad things too, except in this case learning can't really be that bad.

I haven't bothered to read the article but the anti-catholic part is probably something silly and anti-American? I'm in Canada, so it shouldn't matter much for me, but to be honest America IS responsible for a lot of bad stuff.

And Socialism is a very broad term. It could be a good thing, or it could be a bad thing.
