Firstly, I'm Australian. Secondly, my favourite Aussie band was most popular in the early 90s, so there aren't a lot of videos of them on youtube, but I found a couple. For the record, my favourite song of theirs is Single Perfect Raindrop but Rock This Boat will do. Harmonica solos for the win~!

Not exactly representative of other New Zealand music, but it is my favourite song from here.

As an American, that's the first bit of music from NZ I've heard since OMC had that one hit here. I like.

Also as an American there are countless songs I could list that I'm sure you've all heard of before. I'm going with Tracy Chapman's Fast Cars as my top pick, because it's such a great folksy song. The second is a pop song, because I loves me some pop music.
