Can we not have threads dedicated to internet rules that are idiotic and only pander to fan service? They tend to not end well. You know which one I'm talking about.
Rule 38: When one sees a lion, one must get into the car?
That actually makes a lot of sense. I don't know WHAT you're talking about.

Eh? What do you mean? I haven't seen this particular thread before. I've seen threads kinda/sorta about the topic, but they usually have to deal with YOU being rule 34'd, not game characters.

Someone doesn't like R34 ;D
*vomits*
While this may relate to internet rules, but it is just a general thing that you see on the internet a lot. I mean, there is Femshep after all...
Femshep comes from the fact that you could play as a female in the original game. Don't ruin Mass Effect for me, I can only puke so much.
You shouldn't be worried bad stuff gets removed and user banned.

Female Link's legs are extraordinarily large.
Compared to most pics of Chun Li, they are pretty normal sized, lol.

I want to see a girl Link in a real LoZ game.
I want to see a girl Master Chief in a real Halo game.
A girl Mario... Okay, that's maybe pushing it a litle, but it could be fun. At the very least, I think Peach deserves to get the spotlight again, and not in a game where she weaponizes cartoonishly out-of-control emotions.

Male Samus... wow, no. And that's where things get complicated.

I can't quite explain why, but female protagonists tend to make for a more interesting story, to me.
Maybe it's a weird kind of vague sexism. Seeing the gender that is typically portrayed as being the weaker in a position of gaining power speaks to my "a god am I" desires - I'm not puny, but I wouldn't mind going super saiyan.
Maybe I just think female characters can play more complex characters, compared to the typically gruff, flat male characters one sees all too often. Be honest, when was the last time you played a male protagonist who was genuinely interesting as a character? Oh, sure, there might be a lot of things that happen around the guy, but the guy himself isn't all that special, when you get right down to it.

In any case, I've always thought female protagonists made for more compelling characters. In fact, 3 of my 4 characters in Skyrim are female, most of my World of Warcraft toons are female, I always play a femShep in Mass Effect... really, anytime a game offers a chance to choose the gender of the player character, it's a 50/50 chance I'll choose female.

Challenge accepted. I'll go through all my games right now and tell you about em.
Batman Arkham Asylum: You are the goddamn Batman, need I say more?
LA Noire: Your character has a LOT of back story and characterization
Halo ODST: I actually hated Veronica Dare in this game. Every other Male character, even the ODST you control, is more likeable than her.
L4D: Zoey is awesome, but I love me some Bill and Francis
Catherine: Really interesting guy, the game is ALL about HIM.
No More Heroes: Travis Touchdown is such a cool guy in a cool world.
Fire Emblem (any/all): Your main character is the most important character in the game, the whole world revolves around him/her and the choices you make.
Metroid Prime: I have always thought that Samus' actions should define her personality more than any actual vocal dialogue (fuck you MOM)
Soul Calibur 2: Each character has a very interesting back story, I LOVE Siegfried Schtauffen's (Nightmare) backstory :D
Baten Kaitos: Omg this game is so long. You pretty much get to learn about every subtle nuance of every single character. The few female characters (except one which I won't spoiler) are kind of boring. The one female character I like is so... awesome :D (trying hard not to spoiler it)
Time Splitters 2: The game focuses on the main character (a guy) more so than the girl. Hell, in the last level, the girl gets gunned down!
Ogre Battle 64: Your main character gets all the attention (he's a guy) and to hell with everyone else.
Then we have Conker's Bad Fur Day, Starcraft, Warcraft, Starcraft 2, all male dominated games.

*note: these are not all my games, these are just the games where there is an actual "character" that you interact with and define. Oblivion, Skyrim, PGR, Dragon Age, etc. don't really have you interacting with your character at all*

To me, a game with a female protagonist (a forced one) has a lot riding on it's shoulders. Why? Because the developers have to make a conscious choice to make her a her. Not only that, they have to make her strong enough to be on the same playing field as a guy, yet be girly enough to be a girl. Zoey in L4D is a perfect example of this.

The rules of the internet are outdated and no longer apply. Yes rule 34 persists, as do others, but that is because it's an actual rule. These aren't female characters, they're just people dressed as their counterpart, that doesn't qualify for the character.

This thread has got me thinking, Nintendo really SHOULD do a version of LoZ with a female Link. Hell, every Zelda game is a different Link anyways, seems like the perfect excuse to try something new. Also:

As for a good FemLink, this is probably the best I've seen.
If female Link looked like that, I'd die a happy man. Godddamn brilliant-looking.

Anyways, I'm somewhat surprised that the thread as gone THIS far with no mention of these particular R63s:
