Yo, I'm Tom but most call me Kendall (due to excessive number of Toms. Seriously, 5 in one class ¬¬)
I go by Burn2Feel, devilsnevercry or KendallKun depending on what site I'm on
Found out about the Escapist a few years ago, but joined in 2010 just for the forums
Roman Catholic (please hold ALL jokes for my inbox, I love a bit of banter)
Big fan of metal and trance-y sounds; so Enter Shikari, Bring Me The Horizon, and a bit of Punk go down nicely
Currently at my last year of 6th Form, hoping to go onto an English Literature with Creative Writing course when I'm done, if not then I shall buy an office chair and glue myself to it for a year
Anime fan, though I prefer the manga version of most that were adapted (less/no filler)
Gamer, I dislike horror games (I see no reason to scare yourself when playing a game, but I'm fine with creepy or shocking things in a game) but I am partial to my online games- KendallKun on XBL if you wanna add me or whatever. Or don't, your call.

Shit...that makes 5 parties conducting surveillance on me this week... >.>;;;;
not counting people like me who have already had surveillance on you for a while?

OT:

I'm April Marie (first and middle name which is what I go by) or Bunny depending on who you talk to. Or Blo(w) Pop if you talk to my Haunt family.

27 tomorrow
Aspirations to move out of this hell hole they call California and hopefully move out to the UK. Ideally I'd like to be near Glasgow but I'll move to wherever I can find work out there once I get my work visa.
Unemployed at the moment still looking for work.
Complete ***** but once you get to know me I'm a really nice person underneath it all, just tired of dealing with a lot of the shite I deal with.
I have a shite ton of posters around my room...and books....and some games....and collectible stuff.
and I really have no fucking idea what to say when introducing myself.
extrovert online but offline very much an introvert.
Out of curiosity, why oh why oh why Glasgow?
I'd like to be near there mostly because I love the accent and I like the general area. And I've always wanted to live in Scotland. Likely hood of me actually getting work there is not very high so I will settle with anywhere in Scotland, Wales, or England. I'd say Ireland too but anywhere north of Dublin and I can't understand the accent unless they talk very very slow and annunciate well. And I'd like to be somewhere near to Loch Lomond because come on, its bloody beautiful and everything I want out of somewhere I'm living.

Name's Andy, i'm 22 (going on 23 on the 16th of this fine month), studying games development with a view to entering the industry (obviously).

England is my country.

I'm a fan of many games, I mainly do my gaming on my PC. I also do a bit of mobile gaming on my phone/tablet.

I'm a gadget & hardware enthusiast, you'll see me on the comments section in many an Engadget article.

I enjoy airsoft, it makes me feel manly one day a month.

Single, obviously. Always watching out for a lovely lady to brighten my days.

I think that's about all you guys are interested in.

Greetings and salutations to you. My name is infernai, and I am from Australia.

I'm basically the local resident insane guy who the rest of the site just tries to forget exists, although like everybody else here I'm a rather avid gamer. I'm also currently writing a script/story for a game that me and a few friends are working on.

'Sup, I'm Kris015, my real name is F*ckwad (Yes, my name has a * in it) and I like video games and I play the drums. I also really like music (mostly metal) and.. stuff. I am really skinny and tall and I have really long blond hair. I also like the word 'really' really much. My body is male even though in my mind I'm also male.
That's it I guess.

Hello there, fine ladies and gentlemen, my name is Mike, I am 17 years old. I live in Israel and am due to be conscripted no later than early 2013. I can't tell you much about my personality, since people tell me it changes a lot. I don't live my life, I act it, and everything I do I do for the hell of it.

Only 5 things about me stay the same:

I would go gay for Freddie Mercury

I love philosophical debates

I will die before I let a government take my personal freedoms.

Dishonor a woman around me and I throw pacifism out of the window.

Don't offer me chocolate. I love chocolate. I will assume you are trying to seduce me.
By that logic shouldn't you try and fight for your right to not be forced into the army? (assuming of course you do not want to be in it)
To me it amazes me how Israel's citizens and those of other countries let there governments get away with forcing them into there countries army. As much as I hate my own country for all the shit we pull it is thankfully something the US does not do anymore. (yes they did it in the past but they do not in the present)
Wellp, fighting is pointless since I just get jailed. Besides, it only does me good, since I am intelligent enough to get the smart-kids program, which means the military pays for 3 years of my university education and then I serve by my profession, getting easy experience. Were it any other way I would be typing this from Canad-eh or something.

Also, is your name Bond? James Bond?

Hello. My name is Alex, aged 16, from the United American States, Michigan District.
My username spawned of a combination with Tassadar and and Alex.
Currently, in High school and in Drumline as Bass Drum. I want to make video games (programming) and write some stories on the side (I already do). I also like learning about random things, mostly History, and wasting time on Minecraft and TVTropes.
I consider myself above most members of my generation but equals on the internet. I'm an AP student that gets A's while trying to have my maximum fun. I like most games, but prefer RTS's above all.
And yea, I'll go back to my modesty and slave over something, being quiet and such.

Me? I drink pointless amounts of alcohol, read pretentious literature and poetry, study at the local university and ***** about my love-life.
What, I don't sound original? Well, probably because I'm not. Everyone my age in my town is pretty much alike. Life is crap all over.

I'm Freddie, a 21-year-old American who attends college full-time and works 40 hours a week as an unarmed security officer, been one since October 2010. I own a Mossberg 500 and Colt 1911, but don't have a carry permit yet. I don't talk terribly much, especially not to people I don't know, but with the right topic I can go on for a while.

Obvious hint: describing myself is not the right topic, but hey, there's something.

Fair enough, but Glasgow as a city... Well a friend once summed it up as 'Going to hell but taking the a wrong turn to somewhere infinitely worse'. It did get 'City most likely to be mugged in' in a survey that included Grimsby. I would recommend Edinburgh or Falkirk.
As far as Edinburgh I'd rather live in a city with a name I can properly pronounce without sounding completely American and Falkirk eh *shrugs* I don't necessarily want to live in the city proper more like kind of outside of it but still can be considered Glasgow just isn't if you catch the drift there...Plus I have friends around the area and moving to somewhere where I know at least one person in the area is kind of important to me.

I can understand not liking anime for whatever reason, but not "getting" something is so very vague of a reason to not do or watch something. What don't you get, exactly?

Well why the hell not? May make a few friends and whathaveyou.

I'm Miles a twenty one year old college student. I'm studying political science, but I'm thinking that I might want to go into law enforcement. I've always been a spur of the moment kind of guy so I'll probably just end up going where life takes me. As far as life plans go I don't really have any plans.
As is obvious by my attendance on this site I love video games. I'd say that RPG's in general are my favorite followed by shooters and other various actiony games. I enjoy anime as well as some western animation. I of course love movies and tv shows. I could go more in depth in regards to my media preferences, but we would be here all day. I love to read. Mostly fiction but I also enjoy a good biography or historical account of wars.
As for some miscellaneous things I'm left handed and rather enjoy it, except for those damn desks the man puts around to keep us down. I love beer, but only good beer. That urine flavored water they call light beer can fuck right off. I love the ladies though I have difficulty meeting them. I one of those people who makes friends with people who are around him a lot and for the most part that's not women. I'm not very good at going out and meeting people or with staying in touch with old friends after they or I move away. And to finish up and give you insight into my inner soul I'll leave you with my tenets to life.
1) Everything in moderation
2) Everything worth doing is worth doing to excess
3) Don't stick it in the crazy
4) I don't give a fuck(pronounced i on't give a FUCK)

hey, I'm new , cos i connected with facebook to the forums, then never used it. anyhoo contrey to my badges, I've seen every ZP and unskippable.

my name is samson, I'm 16, English, fircely left wing and slightly dyslexic (as may well be evident). I am opinionated, but generally end up arguing against people I agree with because I think that understanding the oppositite point of view is equally important as understanding your own.

I'm a middle class white boy, so naturally I like rap (particularly Eminem, again, fucking revolutionary), but wait, I'm also love rock (pink flyod are my favorite band).

I swear alot because it doesn't matter, and I'll take the piss out of anyone and anything, especially myself. However I do sometimes try to act intellegently, and I'm definately a nerd (albeit a kinda cool one, as in, PEOPLE TALK TO ME YAY...hem).

so yep, no-one will read this as we're now on page 6, but still, funtimes.

also, Tim Minchin is my god.

I figure it is time for me to jump in here too.

My name is Chavez, I am a 26 year old college student. I am studying social work so that I may be able to help my fellow man at some point, but I have a feeling that I will end up following very different paths before I get there. I tend to get very passionate about various things and I will follow them to see where it takes me. Aside from wanting to work for people, I have also dabbled in writing, art, music, auto-repair and right now I am currently training in Muay Thai and Boxing in the hopes to take a few serious amateur fights and maybe take a pro fight if I get good enough.

All that being said, I have always been into video games. My older brother get me into it when he bought a N.E.S. and I have been playing ever since. In high school I tended to only play fighting games (because of the deep mechanics) and JRPG's. Now I play a much broader swath of games and I tend to favor games with strong narratives and storytelling. The only things I wont play are Activision games because I do not like their CEO's open stance on bleeding customers (i.e. us)dry by milking games for all they are worth. I haven't really bought one of their games since MW2, which has been relatively easy except for a few cases. Luckily I do have friends that have let me borrow those games lol.

Free time has been drastically cut since I have returned to school but I LOVE LOVE LOVE music and have a huge music collection as well as a couple of instruments that I toy around with, mainly the guitar. I will listen to anything as long as it is good, regardless of its genre and the same holds true for movies. Anything else? let me know =)
