Introducing my country

I got this idea from several topics were I had to tell what country I come from. I noticed after skimming through most posts that my country, Finland, isn't too well represented here in these forums.
So for everyone to know how we are doing up here in between Sweden and Russia here's a small article (not written by me) "Foreigners Guide to Finland".

Haha, the guide is awesome.

I've been to Finland once but only to Helsinki and liked it a lot. I loved that you do not have to tip but then again, your food prices are crazy expensive. I had the feeling that fins tend to be shy but maybe I just met the wrong people.

I know exactly two things about Finland.

1) White Death (nickname of a sniper who fought Russia)

2) Nightwish (a band)

Both of them are extremely awesome.

I would love to visit Finland, so much history I haven't even delved into yet. Oh and the Finns have the best battle cry in the world.

Well Nightwish changed a few years back (vocalist) but the music they make is still pretty decent even thou I loved the touch Tarja bought to the band.

Yeah well we don't tip because they sort of already have that included in the price + taxes they must put in there so that's why food is so expensive here.
The shyness of people depends a little were you go. Ig you ask someone something in the Market then we're not too shy, if you ask someone something in the street an early evening we'll pull our shotgun out from our ass and call it self defence and if you ask someone something 01am at a nightclub and tell them you're from somewere else you will be the pin point of the evening in the whole club. (people love to "speak" english when drunk)

I think your topic was misleading and you should apologize to all of us, unless you're still gonna' do that other thing I was talking about in which case let's start talking money markets and exchange rates for the United Places of Guffe. Mommy needs a new tax shelter.

Sorry, I'll need some time to build up my own fantasy world... My imagination usually works good in small scales but I'll need some time to make up EVERYTHING.

J/k. I know what Finland is, and where it is. And that it fought several wars to keep its independence from the Soviet Union.

I can't agree with the latter I'm afraid.

Nightwish was brilliant up until the vocalist left.

I really tried to get into the album after that, but the new singer just doesn't have the same chops for that type of music.

I really tried to keep liking them, but for me, Once was that band's swan song.
