While on the bus today with my mates, I noticed that a couple of us have odd little, well I'm going to call them twitches, I'm not sure if they were involuntary though. One of them would flip his hand over so it'd be palm up, then back again at random time intervals. I noticed I sort of strummed, as though playing guitar, on the seam of my jeans.

I thought it was pretty odd, although it might be normal to have little things like that. Do any of you Escapists have little twitches or movements like that? Or are we just odd?

I compulsively crack my knuckles. I also fidget a lot after I eat (I guess I'm subconsciously burning extra calories).

Legs moving ALL THE TIME, I listen to so much metal I can barely go five minutes without pretending I am playing the drums, double bass pedels. Pisses my mother off to no extent.

I noticed a friend of mine who used to have long hair, still kind of shakes his head sometimes like he's trying to swing a strand of hair out of his face. I remember seeing him do that whenever he was talking to women and he finished a sentence.

More of a habit than a twitch: Whenever I receive or open a bottle or beer, I always rub the opening and pop it with my finger.

When I have a biro in my (left) hand I have to spin it around my thumb. Those who can do it know what I mean.

I just can't stop doing it...

I have plenty.

The most prevalent happens to be my strange, odd stare. I've been told I look spontaneously from side to side, up and down, across, and occasionally straight forward, with the most expressionless, odd stare one could imagine. Though, if you were to ask me, I would merely be keeping alert.

I spontaneously twiddle my fingers in repetitive patterns, as well as give a wide, clownish smile for no apparent reason. What else...I think those are the worst ones.

hmm, whenever i sit down for more than 2 mins, my leg will twitch on its own, apparantly this runs in the family because my dad does it too >_>

once we sat next to each other and both our legs were twitching, made my nan laugh

also, when im nervous and someone talks to me, i tend to rub my neck whenever i talk XD

also every so often (maybe 10 times a day?) i flip my wrists to make them click, ill probably end up with arthritis ¬_¬

I have a few unconcious movements. My leg moving up and down like I'm playing a double-bass drum pedal is the most obvious. I also have this weird thing I do with the palm of my hands, to keep the sensations on the joints of my fingers on them symetrical (I know I haven't explained it very well, but it's hard to do so...)

Strumming on my ipod, drumming to the beat of a song and rubbing my hands together when I'm talking to someone I don't really know.

I know what you mean, except for me it's the right hand. Unfortunately however, I can only do it maybe 80% of the time, so I look like a real plank when I have to go and get my pen...:)

I was born with Tourettes, so I'm all about the twitch. I move my neck up in to the left involutarily, as well as blink alot.

Pretty normal for me.

I also bite my cheeks when I'm hungry, because my teeth itch me. Yeah, I'm a vampire... ;d

Maybe we all have Tourettes.

My eyes twitch a lot and my hands always move to my hair.
In the video for 'Show your accent' I notice I do that a lot o.o

I feel your pain, I really do. My percentage is circa 80% too. Luckily I only normally have a biro in my hand when I'm sat at my desk (yes it's very reminiscent of Boris) so when I drop it it usually fall on to the desk itself so I don't look too stupid.
