My Iphone has never crashed and i have had it for a good while now. Some apps have frozen like once or twice or randomly quit, but that isnt due to the iphone, it is a result of bad programming by the apps producers. If an app does crash then all u need to do is hold down the Home button for like 20 seconds and it resets the ram and returns you to the home screen, nothing too hard to handle.slevin8989 said:With my iPhone it has crashed about 10 times, and i hate dealing with the people in the Apple store they act like im a baby and can't understand that their phone just plainly sucks.
In regard to the battery life it isn't that great. On standby you can get a fair amount of time out of it, understandably, but under heavy use it drops to extremely low levels. Nothing that cant be handled; im generally always near a pc so whenever im at it i just plug it in. Something that can, once again, be easily handled. Also, the 3GS is much more energy efficient (i dont know by how much, but it is), so take that into regard as well.
I would recommend an Iphone. I really would. These problems are small to say the least, and im sure that you would be able to cope with charging it once a day without any struggle. It really is at the forefront of phones now, nothing can really compare. Yes, i know the Palm Pre is very good (so i am told), and Android is very good too (once again, so i am told), but none of these phones will have the same usability or support as the iphone in terms of apps, general usability and upgrades. You know that you have bought the right thing when companies start marketing products with the intention of "killing" it; its generally because that product is the benchmark.
