That's fine, but on the other hand. The best thing about the iPhone is I can have numerous devices in 1 little package. So I can get my emails, check cinema times, various other things on the move when I don't have access to a PC. Its got a decent MP3 player, since it is basically an iPod Touch. And its a phone all in 1 slim little device. Its not about being a fashion accessory, for me it was the best phone at the moment with the best user interface for what I needed.DannyDamage said:Copied from the other cell phone thread from TODAY.
Buy the cheapest one for god's sake. It's a phone, not medical insurance!
I never got why people have to 'stuff their pants' as it were with gadgets like mobiles. Everyone has one now, they're not special, just use them to call and text people as that's all they're REALLY needed for.
(this goes ten time for iPhones, nothing but fashion toys)
Your closing statement is good in theory, but everyone I know that has gone and bought an iPhone ALSO have a separate computer\laptop (email & web etc.), MP3 player, camera and games console/handheld.blarggles said:That's fine, but on the other hand. I mean think about it, would you rather carry a few devices such as an MP3 player and a phone? Or just one?
Then don't get an iPhone.blarggles said:That's fine, but on the other hand. The best thing about the iPhone is I can have numerous devices in 1 little package. Right so we have half of that based on its looks. Lets be honest....The iPhone looks better.RAKtheUndead said:Here are my thoughts on the iPhone. As you can tell, I'm not particularly impressed by it.
RAKtheUndead said:Apple iPhone 3G: The iPhone may be one of the most popular smartphones released in recent times, but the Nokia E71 makes it look like a children's plaything. The solid stainless steel and chrome finish of the E71 makes the plastic finish of the iPhone look like an elaborate toy, and it just goes downhill from there. With an inferior camera, no way to expand the internal memory, low battery life, an unimpressive operating system and most of all, an almost-complete lack of interface which doesn't use the touch screen, the iPhone doesn't endear itself to the business customers which the E71 aims for. The only place where the iPhone proves superior is in its music capabilities, and it only breaks even at best when it comes to the internet and GPS capacities. The so-called "Jesus Phone" will likely sell more units, but the E71 remains the superior phone.
