IRC Servers Down

Some of you may have noticed, IRC is currently down...

There was an issue with two of the IRC hub servers this morning resulting in them currently undergoing maintenance. We are in the process of getting them back up, but as they're hosted on the other side of the world there are a few time zone discrepancies.

Is there anywhere on the site detailing how to log onto the IRC channels for when they go back up? I've recently got into IRC and would love to hang out with fellow escapists.

At the bottom of the page there is a list that says Escapist everywhere, it's the last list to the right, in that list there's a link to the IRC, I personally think it's a little hard to find.

... and there I was, trying to slap some sense into my chatzilla. Anyhow, do let us know when you find the sysadmin who puked on the servers before passing out in an alley.

The maintenance is still unfortunately ongoing, I know it's been a couple of days, but there was a network level event that we are still dealing with.

If all goes to plan, everything should be online again this evening (GMT).
