okay so im at my girl friends place and im drinking guinness, necter that it is, and she is drinking malibu. so yeah im drinking away and she grabs my glass, about half a pint left in it and pours in like two shots of malibu. so i had a go at her, then drank it. and ya know what. it tasted alright. seriously try it. half pint of guinness and 50 ml of malibu. its freaking awesome. i call it an irish sunrise. spread ur legs and spread the word

Edit: Over initial shock, but seriously its Guiness its a meal and drink, its the manliest beverage in existence. You win if you're drinking a pint of guiness and someones is drinking anything else.

Guiness should not be changed. Ever. Especially not with Malibu. It's just wrong, it'sdeeply wrong.

Guinness is average at best, drink real stout.

as far as real stout goes, well im from OZ initially, so the only other stout ive had is Coopers, which uve probly never heard of. and aside from that, ill drink what i want.

I reccomend Orkney Dark Island, can't remember whether it's a stout or porter but the two are pretty similar.

Orkney Dark Island is great, we sell it at my pub sometimes. We've got Cooper's in bottles too. If you can get hold of some Brooklyn Chocolate Stout, that's a fantastic one, although at 10.6%, you have to be careful with them. We've got Fuller's London Porter on at the moment, which is really good too.
