Ever wondered what Irn Bru is really made of? It's absolutely delicious and somewhat addictive, but it looks like waste product from a nuclear reactor. Ideas? Theories? Conspiracy theories regarding aliens/dinosaurs/others?

In your opinion - what does it taste like?

It was 'Iron Brew' until trading standards got on their case because it is not brewed and does not contain iron.

It's the devil. I get headaches from caffeine, one small glass of that and I could barely hold my head up.

But in all fairness, it's actually very tasty. Sugary, packed full of caffeine.. It's like the bastard child of Fanta/orange fizzy drink, creamy soda, Coke and crack cocaine.

.. I recommend it.

It is heaven. The greatest drink ever made. And Just to clear this up, Irn Bru tastes like Irn Bru. Nothing else. Ever. At all.

irn bru is a heavenly elixir given to us from the gods.

Although these gods are awfully reptile-like...

@ Lukeje: Thank you - I didn't know that.
@ Simriel: Couldn't agree more. Scotch may however be the greatest drink ever made.

Hmm. From the website:

IRN-BRU 32 was so named in homage to the 32 flavours which give it its phenomenal taste. To the 32 mg of caffeine per 100ml which give it its phenomenal buzz.

.. Name all the flavours!
