Iron Maiden is truly teh bestest metal band EVAAAAAR! It is really amazing that they've been in the running for over 20 years now, and their latest album, which came out just in 2006 STILL sounds awesome. Great review bob.

I enjoyed the review. Iron maiden is one of my old time favorite bands, my favorite song would most definitely be The Trooper. I love listening it whilst playing COD4.

you forgot to mention that Bruce is also a certified 747 pilot, he flies for the airline that had the contract for the uefa cup and specifically requested to take the Rangers there

as for the best bass player, Stanley Clarke is up there and could play circles around most of them

I'm a Maiden-ite. Everyone in my family hates them. Love them 2 death. The only live album I've ever bought was Iron Maiden's Rock In Rio because of "Fear Of The Dark". Steve Harris MADE me wanna play bass.
