I saw it just now, it was great. Fantastic action and a great lot of laughs which I've come to expect from the franchise, slightly let down by the main villain's final battle but other than that it was a damn good movie with real heart and depth.
Plus... to agree with Movie Bob here, Scarlett Johannson in a skin tight black leather outfit doing acrobatic stretches is like, the best thing that could ever have been added to this movie.

I haven't seen the second movie yet, but I'm not surprised that the final villian fight was lackluster. The first movie had a similar problem. (IronMonger and Ironman's fight was just shit in my opinion.)Vrex360 said:

I saw this last night, but still think the first is better. The characters are all great, but the story isn't as good as I was hoping. IT feels a lot like they had ideas and so just mashed them together. There's also lots of nods to the Avengers cross-over which didn't help the film much as they felt like they were bolted on a bit. Also, stay after the end credits, its worth it.
The final fight was on par with the first movie's final fight scene. Which as you said but lacked. But it's a great sequel and that is very rare.Vrex360 said:

I'm very much looking forward to seeing it. From the trailers it looks like the perfect sequel to what was definitely one of the better superhero movies.

Saw it yesterday, It was Absolutely brilliant and I'll be getting the DVD as soon as it comes out.
actually, i saw it and thought it was dog shit terrible
there were parts in it where i was litteraly flashing back to transformers 2
its not AS bad as T2:rotf, but its definitly closer to it, then it is to the dark knight
