I had a set of irrefutable laws, but a girl I met during the zombie apocalypse taught me to disregard them and live in the moment...also I founded Facebook...not really sure how those two things relate to each other...
If you make a decent movie reference: no quotes. Dare to say you enjoy black ops: prepare for the firestorm of hatred...
But I do enjoy black ops... 3=

Whatever your trying to get a picture of will always move last second.

If you think your gonna get caught, you will.

Games will always be released when you don't have the money for them. (I'm looking at you Terraria...)

If you do happen to pay of a game in a preorder it will be delayed. (Duke...)

I will never roll high enough to hit on my first roll... >.>

XD i only found out about it due to being an oxhorn fan, http://www.oxhorn.com/movies/oxhorns-christmas-movies/its-beginning-to-look-a-lot-like-this-raid-isnt-going-to-happen/ tis the video he uses it in.

also, oddly enough on a closely passed work day my manager used it in a phrase when she set off the exit door alarm, an act at the store worthy of a facepalm.

If you have major, very structured plans in place, then get prepared to have them rocked.

Example: I'm packing and sorting my apartment so that I can move into a new one and then cross the entire Earth to work in a new temp job. These plans are very delicate and they just got knocked out because one of my wisdom teeth is now infected. Time to push my move-in date forward again and drive two hours to get the teeth ripped out of my head.

No matter how hard you've been working or how long you've been at it, your manager only ever walks by when you're sitting down taking a break. Could be three hours of work and a three minute breather, THAT is when your boss will see you.

Another one, no matter how competent you think someone is, when you work with them, you'll always been the one who has to get the job done.

Maybe you miss understood, I was being sarcastic, and I am painfully aware of Murphy's Law, I know Murphy was an optimist. This is more of a thread of things you have come up with, not the standard everyone knows. But then again I didn't spell that out in the beginning and everything that can go wrong will go wrong especially on a message board.

The more co-workers there are at work with you, the more work they will throw at you.

Indubitably.

If thers a uni assignment that involves groupwork, I'm the guy who gets paired with a team comprising the most incopetent useless people the lecturers could find, and that they'll garuntee me a fail that ill have to make up for on my own.

The guy whos failed this course 3 times already. The girl whos doing another uni course and just took this one coz she thought it would be a lol to see if she could get it done on the side. The people who refuse to do any work or communicate outside of class. The people who mean well but just dont have what it takes to do the simplest of tasks.

Every. Ball-wrenching. Time.
welcome to my life. This is why I call group projects: my projects. Seriously, in 3 years at a university I have had one group project that I didn't do completely by myself, and give to the others.

Agreed entirely. Out of my team of six, only one person aside myself turned up with a competent part for our presentation. Three of them weren't even there. Happily, they were each disqualified :)
Every one of my subjects this year has started with a group assignment, for one of them the groups were meant to have 9 members each to research and write a colaborative paper/essay, 6 of the people in my group vanished off the face of the planet after the first day, my remaining 2 'team mates' had severe issues with constructing basic sentences, they couldnt even get the wording for a title correct. I wrote the whole damn thing and then on the day we had to present I had to do all the talking because they were scared!

I'm doing an Architecture degree, for another one of my assignments we had groups of 3, I took on most of the work from the start because the other 2 didnt no where to begin, I came up with all the ideas to drive the project, put together diagrams and produced all the information we'd need for the final hand in. I made a 3D model to exact dimentions, met up about 4 times with them to explain everything and give them all they needed to do their part, some simple floor plans and make a small model (1 task went to each of them). They could take the plans and see what had to be done for the model right from the 3D work I'd done. They had 2 weeks to do their part. Half an hour before the damn thing is due their working on it at uni and I have to help them finish.

Things get better when it comes to presentation time, we agree that since I know all the thinking behind the project, I'll do the talking, but then when I try they cut me off constantly and spout nonsense about the project that just gets the markers confused and makes what I've said seem inconsistent.

NO IM NOT GIVING YOU MORONS MONEY FOR PRINTING COSTS, NOT AFTER THAT.
