Technically it was the PR company Eidos hired but still.
If you like the Tomb Raider or Prince of Persia series I'd recommend it otherwise not.

I can't wait to what happens when Deus Ex 3 gets released.

The publishers asked for any bad reviews to come out two weeks after it comes out. So it's most likely a bad game.

That's what confuses me it's not a bad game.

Who actually trusts reviews these days? More importantly my brother has decided to get it so I don't have to waste/spend money on a crap/great game.

I just don't understand how it is acceptible for them to put pressure on reviewers to keep their reviews until later? And it IS pressure from the sounds of it. There seems to be this implied feeling that failure to comply with these requests could meant that the game reviewers can get black-balled and not get future access...

Actually, it can be good, bad or neither.

It can be good when they get the game 2 weeks before release, and don't see enough of the game in those two weeks to make an opinion, in which case the longevity of the game is excellent.

It can be bad when they get the copy late from the developers because it was withheld from them due to a trend of negative scores, which means that the developers know it's crap and want to make some sales before the word gets out.

It can be neutral when they just didn't get the game. They can't review it if they don't have it.
