Aion is remarkably like an MMO.

I don't much care for MMO's so I got bored around my mid 20's and quit. From what I've heard, the game becomes quite the grind later on down the road.

That said, the combat is pretty fun, and being able to fly is cool. It's also a gorgeous and yet very well-optimized game (in other words, will run decently well on second-rate hardware).

It's an awesome game if you can get past the immense grinding. Though I heard they are going to ease the grinding alot at some point :)

It looked like a pretty WoW to me, but I haven't been abl;e to try it due to everyone in the house using internet.

Like the others said, it's very grindy, but apart from that a good game with great design and original forms of PvP. I myself stopped playing it though, maybe i'll pick it up later when i finished my singleplayer games.

It's decent, but don't expect to get to lv.50 in its current state. I found after lv.25 there was no indication of where to quest other than a few quests in "The Abyss" that only led to the same quest being offered as a repeat upon completion, so I just found a quiet area where no on would could see me and grinded to level up. That was fucking boring, and it only got worse later on with huge amounts of XP required to level up.

It's fun up to level 25. Then you slam hard into the wall of grinding. Which is really sad, because it's not until level 20 that you get to experience the one thing the game did better than any other I've played, which is PvP in a PvE zone. So there's about five levels of fun in the game.
