Is an nvidia gforce 9800 gtx still good for current games?

Given the 9800s age, they can be picked up rather cheaply. Gt another one and run them in an SLI setup. That should run everything quite nicely for a while.

I've got a 9800 in one of my PCs and it's blown me away with how good it still is. Most games play on either max or at least close to settings. The only games that do give it some issues are games that seem fairly badly optimised like Metro 2033 etc. Even still it runs them around high settings.

Im still running a GEFORCE GTX 260M, and i run current games fine, kinda odd though considering that this laptop is really hasnt aged well...
