They won't, they can't and they wouldn't want to.

Oldfags and newfags working together? Won't happen.

And if they became all powerful, there'd have to be another Anonymous to overthrow them.
That is the most true out of all those statements. Newfags and Oldfags just don't work well together

No. That makes no sense. How would they? All they can do is hack. You need a bit more than that to do anything related to ruling.

Actually, anon has tipped off the police to a bunch of pedos.

Maybe that's because anon is completely diverse.

If they could pull their shit together they could.

But honestly, they are like the Orks in Warhammer(as well as 40K): They are the most powerful force in the know universe, but their lack of discipline, organization, and team work prevents them from becoming dangerous

Seriously.

And Im not sure that its a bad thing, they generally seem to have a..balanced(?) moral compass. Sense of humor may be off, by they do seem to want to prevent gun shootings.

And they seem to be in the new more and more, though that just might be me.

Do you think they will? And is it a good thing?
God I hope not. Their a bunch of selfish brats crying because they can't get value without giving something in exchange(legally). If they take over the world, I'm heading for the deep woods and starting my gundam for the inevitable time when they screw everything up royally. Unfortunately, I probably won't finish the gundam until the disaster has already come and destroyed civilization and 80% of the population. But hey, then I can rule the world.

The whole assumtion is idiotic in several ways.
The people most in media are just some trolls.
The few good actions are, as the whole idea of anonymous was based on, by completely different people using the label of legion.
So there is no one in particular but an everchanging mass of individuals, and so it cant take over anything. because it never existed in an organised form and will stop to exist as it is if it ever gets organized.

No. Mainly because they don't want to, and also because they can't. They can do a lot of things, but they're not all-powerful.

Oh stop it. Child porn is the only thing that's not allowed on /b/.

Anyways, of course not. They wouldn't want to, and being run by a faceless, irreproachable government is one thing Anonymous is fighting against.

Social Awkwardness and a direct disdain for anything authoritative generally don't make great leaders or rulers

No, they never will nor are they even capable of doing it. Outside of the internet, they're nothing. That is why they hide and attack using the web, which thankfully is no longer capable of keeping them safe now that their actions have drawn attention from several law agencies.

Balanced moral compass... hehehe good one.

We are talking about the same... group (by which I mean a collection of people with something in common, not an organisation) that preaches freedom of speech and expression, then verbally/emotionally attacks anyone who says something they don't like?

Nope.
I think ruling the world would require some organizational structure further than anarchy.
Mind, it would be interesting if it happened.

Of course not. In their little fantasy world, they have huge influence, but unless they hack something important, nobody really cares. They probably couldn't rule a house without trolling each other into oblivion.
Besides, if they did rule the world we'd have to go through about 5 different ethnic cleansings, considering how most of them are racists.

Anon rule the world? Nope. Anonymous is a force of chaos. It doesn't work towards any one goals and it has no single purpose. Groups of people who claim themselves as Anonymous (which they are) will go about righting wrongs while another group who also claim to be Anonymous (once again right) will spread chaos "for teh lulz". Anonymous isn't a group in the way you think of them. Their name is quite fitting. Anonymous is just the mass of the internet, with all it's random beliefs and convictions.

Not organized enough.

Nor do they have the attention span. They may say "We do not forget. We do not forgive." or whatever, but look at Chanology. Scientology is still as corrupt as they were a few years ago. I see no more attacks by Anonymous though.

Anonymous already rules the world. They're your mailman, your neighbour, your secretary. They teach your children, they supply your milk, they repair your boiler. Anonymous is that guy that handed your phone in to the hotel reception when you left it at the bar, as well as the receptionist. They're your favourite actor, your local police force, your mayor, your kids. They typed out this post, and are also currently reading it.

Anonymous is a state of being everyone has experienced at some point or another. Some of Anonymous doesn't play by the rules, but other members make the rules. They already rule the world, we simply only notice the oddballs, the extremists, and non-conformists amongst them.
