British, yes he was funny. He was broke in feudal Japan and a foreigner playing the different clans for profit. Bad ass...um, I see a stretch in that. I do wish he was still around though. I don't see why they turned him to dust when his power was stolen. It would of been funny to have him running around for a while bitching he can't heal. Even pestering Hiro as a mortal taking up Ando's sidkick slack giving James K. Lee more oppertunity as a regular charater to do more than play Masi's straightman.
