It's not the greatest game but it reminds me of playing old Call of Duty and Medal of Honor games on my pc. We clamored for a modern game for so long and now I kind of miss the WWII games now. The slo-mo kill shots are a guilty, sadistic pleasure and it appears you can run and gun and use explosives if you get bored of shooting a guy in his mouth from over a hundred meters, which I can't really see myself doiong. I just found it fun and wasn't expecting too and am wondering if I am alone.

Hell yeah, I had a blast with the demo, kept going until I couldn't think of anything new to do. Bro tip: You can shoot the grenades on their belt.

I'm having (a reasonable amount of) fun with the full game. Glad I got it on sale as a download rather than full price, though.

For once, Steam was by far the most expensive place to get the game. Normally, it's the same price as high street retailers, rarely ever more. This case, however, it as £30 on Steam. sold retail elsewhere for between £20 and £25. (HMV initially had it priced at £15 for PC, then took that down and cancelled the orders, the vaginas).

It's $50 new here. I'm thinking that will drop to around $30 pretty quickly and I'll get it then. I just read the campaign can be played co-op and it has a couple of other co-op modes. One has one player being the sniper while the other runs around on the ground completing objectives and spotting.

Yeah, at 35$ it would have been a sure-buy after playing the demo. At 50$ without the bonus ripped-out-the-game mission, not so much.

The ripped out mission isn't even that good. It's more a mini-mission. Two to five minutes (depending on play style) to get up to the top of a hill. The next X minutes (could be anything from 1 minute to God knows what) trying to shoot a Hitler prone to hiding behind walls.

Fun fact: if you shoot him in the groin and get a kill cam, you'll see he only has one ball.

Hmm, and they would aggravate an irrational entitled douchebag like me over this?

You know what, both times I got balls shots, both globes exploded. I can't hit one, it must be both. Everytime, it's soul crushing.

I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO IT!

Quick question, in the demo mission, is it possible to be undetected until the final part? Because I tried, and and every time I ended up having to kill every enemy in a hundred meter radius

That was why I didn't like the demo, I was expecting a stealth game. Well this was anything but a stealth game.

I liked the x-ray kill cams though.

I don't think so. The enemies all have that videogame vision. I see, you wanted to sneak all the way there, take out the target and then disappear which would make more sense as a sniper mission. I think their focus was more on the kill cam stuff and how many points you can get for high sill shots. More of a shooting gallery game than an actual sniper mission. I'm ok with that. I usually end up killing everybody in stealth games anyway.

Huh, well that makes me feel better for playing it like Call of Duty. Still the Sniping is damn satisfying on the Realistic setting. But If I had one gripe it would be that when you go slow mo (Which makes sniping super easy in the first place) a little red diamond pops up showing you where your shot will land, its useful but it doesn't really have a place in the Realistic setting.
