Is anyone else sick of the Willhelm scream?

I dunno, I find it kinda funny, always think to myself, "Hey, they used the scream." and sometimes, I even have a brief chuckle about it, especially if it's used in a part of the movie that is either A: hidden and mixed into it in a clever way. Or B: completely and intentionally out of place specifically for humours sake.

But eh, to each their own, you and I like different things, and that's cool with me, because if we were all of the same mind, life would be horribly fuckin boring.

I freakin' love the wilhelm scream. But I do understand where you're coming from, i just...well, I just plain don't feel that way.

It could be misused, however. There's always a place where the wilhelm scream is just a fun little thing, that doesn't really ruin much. If a wilhelm scream was used, say, in the D-day scene in "saving private ryan" however...that would completely fuck things up. In short, fun little joke, but if wrongly placed, it could do real damage to the feel of a movie. Luckily, few people are that dumb as to put it in the wrong place.
