I seen a lot of anime and my main problem with monster girls is that most of the time they are regular cute girls with animal or insect part of their body. But with Asui Tsuyu I feel as if thought was put into her design.

The girl you posted does look more like a genuine hybrid of a human/creature could turn out as.

All the other supposed monster girls are just cute looking girls with animal parts attached on. Heck most of them have human skin tone when the monster they're meant to be is a completely different colour.

Like the Snake girl who's so popular. How come the top half of her isn't pink and scaly, aside from two lil' patches on her face? It'd make more sense if she's meant to be a full-on snake-girl.

OT: While there are lots of good entries here, most of these monster girls would kill you as soon as talk to you, or accidentally cause one's demise by accident...

That means the correct answer has to be: Tsurara Oikawa!

First off she can easily pass for human, she's also cute as a button, and to top that all off, she's also genuinely a sweet and nice person... If a bit over protective. She's also not likely to kill anyone by accident, she also wouldn't intentionally harm a human. Although, she is a yuki-onna, so you do run the risk of being uncomfortably cool around her, having to wear a sweater most of the time in her presence, and that she might accidentally freeze what ever food you're eating. As a bonus, she's an adult both by Yokai standards, and human standards, as she was at least 14 when Rikuo Nura was toddler, so during the events of the anime/manga she's at least in hear early-mid twenties.

OT: While there are lots of good entries here, most of these monster girls would kill you as soon as talk to you, or accidentally cause one's demise by accident...

First off she can easily pass for human, she's also cute as a button, and to top that all off, she's also genuinely a sweet and nice person... If a bit over protective. She's also not likely to kill anyone by accident, she also wouldn't intentionally harm a human. Although, she is a yuki-onna, so you do run the risk of being uncomfortably cool around her, having to wear a sweater most of the time in her presence, and that she might accidentally freeze what ever food you're eating. As a bonus, she's an adult both by Yokai standards, and human standards, as she was at least 14 when Rikuo Nura was toddler, so during the events of the anime/manga she's at least in hear early-mid twenties.

She sounds rather appealing, actually, and I think I'd like a yuki-onna more than most people since I love the cold.

Another monster girl I am very fond of is Karuta Roromiya from Inu x Boku SS. Cute and adorable in human form, with a love of food, her monster form is a gashadokuro.

The same show also features a yuki-onna, named Nobara Yukinokouji.

OP: Yeah, I'd say so. She's an actual 'hybrid' rather than whatever the fuck the other monster girls have going on, which is at the very least is something original.

Personally, I've always found the 'torso of a hot chick, legs of a whatever' design to be monumentally boring. Like... c'mon, if you're going to have a monster girl, make her monsterous. Do something cool with the design, don't just slap a snake tail on her and call it a day.

I still find it confounding that people choose a centaur. Like, a snake I can kinda get. But a centaur?
