So here's a recent tweet from Moviebob:

My question to The Escapist is: Can we take away from this that Bob "Moviebob" Chipman is, in fact, a brony???!!11

What would an "Applejack 2" be? I'm sure there are fan characters out there...

There you go.

Applejack 2 on Xbox live.

Absolutely nothing at all to do with My Little Pony.

We need a cross-over with Applejack and Applejack, if you know what I mean.

Well, this was fun guys, but I'm just gonna run over to another thread then. This is why you don't post questions that can absolutely be answered on a discussion forum.

Way to jump the gun. For one thing he said at one point he doesn't watch anything New on TV much. For another it never crossed your mind that there was a game or a movie or a book named Apple Jack? Really? It was clearly a tilde of some sort.

Consider the fact I never heard of the game "Applejack 2" then it wasn't clear as an joke.

Even then I wouldn't necessary belived Bob to be a brony mainly because of his work schedule mention in one of his video (he work all night and has little time to do other stuff than to go to the gym. I do know he is aware of the show existence.

Magic. *snort snort*

Ehh, some My Little Pony TV show that had far greater writing quality than expected, and it caught on, attracting a wide audience range. Although, I've been finding that quality to be dimming, lately.

Guess I'll just stick with works like Rosario + Vampire and El Goonish Shive.

I'm just a little bit fazed, I'd never expect a talking pony kiddy show to hit a bigger demographic than little girls and here it seems to have a fanbase practically as big as Star Wars's. People actually take it seriously?

Oh boy, my first opportunity to link this!

It's basically an entirely new show despite the MLP name, bucking the gender stereotypes that characterized previous iterations of the series. That, combined with viral word-of-mouth via the internet, helped create a perfect storm of sorts.

I'll admit, I thought it was absurd when I first heard about it. I decided to watch a few episodes to see what all the fuss was about, but I really had to force myself to go through with it. Four hours and ten episodes later, and I come to the sudden conclusion I became a fan somewhere along the way without even realizing it.

There used to be some kind of cocktail called an Apple Jack at my local.
Thank fuck they stopped making it years before this all kicked off.

This thread has remind me of something I was thinking about not too long ago. I wonder what Yathzee thinks of the show and bronies in general. Assuming he even gives a damn.

I do not envy that little guy.

He gave an opinion about it on the Excapist Expo, on the Fan-boys panel. What it boiled down to was he didn't think most people where sincere about it.
