Crash may well be dead, but we shall remember him as the only character who hasn't desecrated(?) his franchise. We shall also laugh at Mario and Sonic for re-releasing themselves to hell.

I'll be honest, I love ALL the Crash Bandicoot Games apart from the 4th one (i.e. the first one on PS2). That includes all the racers, particularly Tag Team Racing. It would be nice if they could revert back to the good old days of completely linear levels with fixed cameras though, it was a formula that always worked on PS1.

He died shortly after his 2nd or 3rd PS2 game for me. But I think he would suit SSBB.
Isn't the point of SSB to celebrate the characters good games? Actually, no, that means Snakes invalid.
Peach is a character, name one decent solo outing ( if any ) Nintendo has given her! Crash wouldn't fit into SSB when I think about it, all he'd do is spin around before Ganondorf drop kicks him out of the Delfino stage.
To the Peach question, She has had one solo outing for the DS, it was called Super Princess Peach, and it involved using her umbrella to beat enemies by the fact that the umbrella ate them, and the other gimmick was that you could control he emotions. You could make her mad so that she would light aflame to burn things, cry to grow plants and spin waterwheels, become happy so she could float along gusts of air, and be calm and normal.

And crash makes about as good of a SSB character as Olimer does.

I sacrificed Crash's earthly shell to the Bloodgods so we get a good sequel to 'Sly Cooper'

The new Crash is an impostor. The old crash had the biggest effect on my gaming life of any game. The first video game I ever played was Crash Bandicoot for the PS1. It is what started me into the world of gaming and without it I would probably be... reading books.

Crash- and Spyro for that matter, died when Naughty Dog and Insomniac Inc. sold over the rights.

For me, the franchise died shortly after they were released on the PS2.
I bought one or two, but they weren't great so...
