I don't think that it is inherently morally wrong, but then I'm not a believer in an inherent moral code. If you wanna do it then fine, go ahead. You're not hurting anyone else. Seems like this doesn't belong on "gaming discussion" though.

My first ever post, by the way!
Yeah, it's my first topic post so i wasn't entirely sure how to post or where I was posting...sorry about that!

Good responses though folks! Keep 'em coming! xx
Fair enough. I feel bad for calling you out on it now ¬.¬

Is is wrong? No. Is it right? Don't be fucking rediculous. It's just an action, stupid and pointless, but not right and not wrong. It is ethically neutral.

ABSO-FUCKIN-LUTELY although I imagine unless you're in wicked good shape you're best bet is to cook a leg in stew

Some people eat the placenta after childbirth, technically that's like eating a person.

Nah, when I die I don't want to check off "Ate parts of himself" on the metaphorical scoreboard of life.

I'm genuinely interested in what people have to say about this one, so discuss away! :) xx
I personally am not interested in eating a part of myself in any scenario. Although I would, as a food lover (i.e fat person, ha ha ha, not) like to just taste a little out of curiosity to see what I taste like. I generally will try any food once to see what its like and to see if I like it. But eating yourself seems wrong on an inherent level and as it as generally going to lead to medical problems I don't think I would eat part of myself.

Unless a part was forced off your body, like losing a leg in an accident, then it's foolish. The body stores fat for food shortages and will eventually use muscles tissue once fat is depleted. I doubt giving yourself open wounds is worth the benefit.

If I had literally no other source of food, I would eat parts of myself. Other than that (and the occasional times when I take out a chunk of skin from my fingers) I don't think I'll be participating in self cannibalization anytime soon.

oh yeah it's perfectly fine.

But you have to do it in the middle of a kindergarten area, and spew your blood and guts on EVERYONE and die laughing on some poor kid.

Well.. if you're on a island and your leg was already kinda cut off via external and unwanted source.. sure.

Just put some BBQ sauce and you're fine...

I was thinking yesterday, what would human meat taste like? Very few things in the world get to taste this meat. Will it taste different because we eat junk food? Will it vary between people because we all have different diets? So yes I would take it home and eat, although I wouldn't know how to cook it.

Being a Cannibal is an addiction, something in the blood (like all generic horror films and shiz).
So no i wouldn't, i'd want more as i get easily addicted to things.

This thread is very well articulated.

No, I would have it incinerated, or fed to dogs, idc, it isn't a part of me, do with it what you will... except releasing yourself into it... if you catch my drift.

And, if someone got it, prepared it, and served it to me, not telling me it were my leg, and I finished, and the person told me it were my leg,I would most likely spew it back up onto said person.

I'm confused. You think someone needs help if they cut off their leg and eat it, but if it's already cut off, then it's fine?

The only way I would ever eat a limb is if I needed to to survive.
