I doubt it, many components of common MMO games are incompatible with the TES structure. Besides, as you can see with Fallout and Oblivion, Bethesda is obviously very concerned with good graphics, and making TES5 an MMO would definitely put a dent in what kind of graphics they can put out.

people have made (or are working) on an online version of oblivion
so technically elder scrolls iv is an mmo...
here is a link to the website: http://www.moddb.com/mods/obliviononline
however there is no word on elder scrolls v yet
do not worry about it there hasn't been word about yet
That project died years ago, there's been like six attempts at an oblivion multiplayer mod.

I think they're making two one MMO and one that may have co-op or their will only be one and it will have co-op and not be a MMO

All of them get to around the point where you have a naked guy running around with you (except it is extremely fiddly to set up and the connection is very bad). I think one mod made it to a point where you could fight with the naked guy before it collapsed.

If bethesda made an MMO is would be so buggy it would set the internet on fire. Literally.

I hope so. It would be great fun to play my Oblivion character alongside my sister's. The game is just waaaaay too boring and lonely when played by yourself.
A thousand times agreed.

Would be kinda fun if they did it a bit like borderlands, except that they keep it as an Elder Scrolls style game, not MMORPG style :p

For the love of everything. PLEASE no. It'd hard to be worse than Oblivion, but an MMO'd do it.
Hard to be worse than Oblivion? Even if it isn't an MMO
Vvardenfell gets destroyed because the Red Mountain erupts.

Definitely worse.
Morrowind was boring and broken.

I can count the number of positive responses I've heard to the idea of an Elder Scrolls MMO on one hand. Bethesda would be stupid to go ahead with it, nobody wants it.

erms, have you ever heard of a thingy called multiplayer?
it's a lot more suited to playing with a friend/sibling then an mmo -_-' and wouldn't cost monthly subscription. So yeah, i'm all for multiplayer TES, but not so much MMO TES

if it turns out to be an mmo, i won't buy it.
Have you heard of a thing called multiplayer on a PC? No, because it doesn't happen. What are you gonna do, attach two keyboards and mice to your pc?

Secondly, who said they'd charge for the MMO? Honest question (as I don't know), does Fallout 3 charge monthly? I've not heard anyone complain about that game, which I believe is an MMO.

He'll yeah I would get it if they keep EVERYTHING the same. Inculding the underated leveling system.

I refuse to accept Episodes I, II and III as Star Wars canon.
My nostalgia sense is tingiling.
I preferd the new star wars's. The originals were just plane boring to me...
This coming from the guy who watched twilight and the second one all the way through.
