Around Canal street, sure.

Everywhere else? Nah, not really.

Homosexuals occupy a very small percentage of the population, those willing to be affectionate in pubic, even fewer.
You don't even see holding hands from gay couples outside of gay village?

Exactly. I was going to make the same comment. I think PDA's in general seem to have declined noticeably.

Very rarely.

Seen a few lesbian couples (who I personally know to be couples, not just friends) holding hands. They can get away with it since straight women holding hands with friends isn't all that remarkable.

Kinda surprised to see people saying they rarely see straight couples engaging in PDA. It's a relatively common sight here, especially if we're counting plain old hand-holding.

Belgium. PDA is already relatively uncommon, so homosexual PDA is comparatively rarer.

It varies from place to place. It's more common in cities with a large student presence and/or certain neighborhoods in the largest cities. You also see a lot more lesbian PDA than gay, probably because in certain parts they'd run the risk of getting beaten into a pulp for the grievous crime of being gay and offending God, Allah or whatever other excuse violent assholes like to use.

I very rarely see it, but occasionally. Only ever holding hands, never see kissing, and even those instances are... once every month or so? More rarely? See straight people holding hands all the time.

I once gave my boyfriend a hug (no kiss), and was subjected to a twenty-minute-plus tirade from a stranger on the train (and we're talking threatening, not just giving vent). My boyfriend didn't feel comfortable with any measure of public affection after that. That might have something to do with it.

London.

Really? I see it all the freakin' time here in Ghent, so I suppose your point about cities is true. Some of it is gay, and if it is gay it's indeed most often girls. PDA in general is incredibly common here, you see couples romantically strolling around holding hands all the time. Really makes being single annoying.

Petty often- holding hands, kissing ect. Probably more common than straight PDAs tbh, but then I live in Brighton- for those that don't know, it's the gay capital of the UK. And I live opposite a gay bar.

Almost never and even a guy like myself, looking like the huntsman from the wolf among us, should not try in order to avoid arguing / getting cussed at from stealth right wingers or stealth islamic fundamentalists that may pop up from somewhere after such, thats something us faboulous folks tent to loose in the long run.

You see a bit of hand holding. Not a lot else, gay or straight. With an especially large student population, the proportion of openly gay people is probably higher than most cities.

I don't go outside here. Not until it's dark, but that's a whole other story.
Do gays even exist? Only kidding, I have some happily coupled friends from my old area that are on social media so I know they exist at least in picture and text format presently. Unless...Those hazed memories are planted. I must message them to ask if they're still real. Be right back...
Oh wait, I remember some memories now, not particularly sober ones. Then yes. Also whole other stories.

Ghent is one of the cities I was referring to. Leuven is another. Antwerp or Brussel? Very dependent on which part of town you're in.

Depends - pdas from male couples are fairly rare where I live, but pdas from female couples are common enough to not be remarked upon. Penrith, England.

I don't recall ever seeing one. Rural Lower Bavaria, Germany.

There's not much overt homophobia here or, rather, at least not the aggressive kind, but homosexual couples don't tend to be very public about their love life. I know a few lgbt people in the are but most of them are pretty private about it. I'm sure it's different in more metropolitan areas.

The most I have seen of PDA from both sexualities is just a straight eldering couples holding at a work a couple of time when they leave the store. Also I lived in a resort sort of town in Wales.

Oh sure, if only because I knew/know two male gay couples and they pretty much acted like any other couple.

Not really. See straight stuff all the time, and some a 5 way PDA on the day the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras was on (alcohol may have been involved), but generally n0 gay stuff.

Considering I only see pdas once in a blue moon, no.
Massachusetts is certainly the kind of place where anyone could if they wanted to, but the parts of Boston where I spend most of my time are definitely not the kinds places that would spark feelings of romance. Lots of construction, homeless guys, and impatient commuters.

Also, I seem to have a broken radar for romance in general.

You mean PDA? Yeah, I see it all the time. I see a lot less gay PDA than straight PDA, but I am not sure if it is because they are statistically less or they tend to be more reserved.
