People expect games to be absolutely perfect, and when it's not, they're disappointed.

The game is actually decent, apart from the inclusion of jetapacks which came in after Dark Voids, and that half the ships and infrastructure look like things out of a Mass Effect games, everything else is fine.

you could build city's out of the Hype for Duke Nukem Forever. all 13 years of it....

and no. it will be better than the Halo3 shitfest but it wont live up to the "BEST GAME EVAR LOLOL" hype.

I know, I, for one, am looking forward to making Spartan-Boba Fett. Wait...Boba Fett is better than any old Spartan! Hey, video-game industry! I want a goddamn Boba Fett game!

As for the hype it will live up to? I know it will live up to mine. I've learned to not expect too much, but from what videos I've seen...it's gonna be juicy.

There is a reason I don't follow hype. I place my own expectations, that usually aren't amazingly high, and see what happens. I played the Beta and watched the E3 trailer, but thats about it. As long as armourlock isn't as overpowered as in the beta, it will most likely be good.

My favorite example of my antihype lifestyle is Mass Effect 2. I only watched the teaser. Didn't know anything that was coming. I didn't speculate on wheather it was too dumbed down or not, since I knew nothing about it. Then I bought the game. I was surprised by everything and loved it.

Seriously though, I highly doubt it. Rarely happens. Just ask Peter Molyneux, the master of overhyping.

If its anything like 90% of triple A games made today, the campaign will only be enough to take up an afternoon, and the entire rest of the game is all multiplayer and achievement farming. Not really much of a game in my opinion.
