Is handheld gaming dying

I played my DS for a week or two.

Now I occasionally buy a game and beat it in a day.

They just need better games. I think I might get an RPG simply so I can actually spend time playing it.

Get Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, that'll last you a while. I know it's actually a GBA game, but that just means it's cheaper.

I already owned, beat, and rebeat, that game.

The Fire Emblem and Golden Sun series are both good, but if you're into rpgs I imagine you already have them...

I'm quite fond of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, though the battle system is different from most.

I looked at Fire Emblem while at the store, I may buy it.

The thing is, I'm not interested in them, though I kind of want to be.

I remember looking at the Kingdom Hearts games and they didn't seem too good, do you think they are?

I've only heard of Golden Sun in passing mention. It's good?

I still get a ton of use out of my ds but for the most part my psp just gathers dust

Even monster hunter is moving to a console (monster hunter tri for wii). But as long as there is a pokemon game (there are about 16 seasons total I believe) there will be a nintendo portable system to pass the baton to.

It's getting better it's just that companies need to release a new handheld every 5 or 6 years like consoles instead of releasing the same thing with just a few new features. No one wants to pay $200 some dollars for essentially the same thing with just some new bells and whistles.
