That said, no humans are not a plague. We are not evil, we are selfish, but there is nothing wrong with being selfish. There is nothing wrong with putting yourself first. Some individuals do great harm, some bring great good. Humanity is a species of extremes, but we have just as many good as we do bad.
We are not a disease, we are predators. All life that preys on other life kills to live. It's a part of nature, just like viruses are a part of nature. And as life always does, It will find a way to adapt.
What about the species that have gone extinct because of us? Those creatures didn't adapt fast enough and now their gone. What about the irreversible damage we have done to certain parts of the world.

The internet has plenty of good resources on ocean acidification, genetic diversity, evolutionary anthropology, etc. All these fields relate very well to the topic you're trying to talk about and you could really learn a lot by just googling some of those terms and browsing a bit.

That's not my point. The Nuclear bomb was developed to escalate the war with Japan. Nuclear weapons were not used against the Nazis. The Nazis would have lost anyway. The US was far more technologically advanced. My point is that people still make nukes. Nobody has learned a lesson from the atrocities committed half a century ago. Also I know that nuclear power stations exist. Too bad that wasn't what was made first.

I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. For the whole "acknowledgement of it's own race" part, I'd say we're just different species? A dog is a dog but you have different breeds like German shepards, we also know that some dogs are more aggressive than other therefore they each behave differently. Humans do that too.
