Is It Dying?

My DVD Rom in my PC has been screwing up as of late. Making grinding noises half the time I put a disc i0, and not reading discs etc.

In my opinion I think its getting old (I've had it for about 5 years now), what do you guys think?

I think it's probally dying. You can take it down to a computer store and ask if somethings wrong, that's usually free. If it is dying, you should probally just get a new one.
