Is it just me or is Red Alert 3 a joke?

I'm embaressed to say it but my mum is quoted as saying "That looks like super Mario" after she said that I just turned it off and didnt have the heart to tell her that it had cost me 30 quid

LMAO oh man, I feel your pain man, I played the demo as the Soviets as soon as it said "Use our parachuting war bears!" in that cheesy Russian accent I just quit to the Dashboard and deleted it

I can see why you have a problem with the controls when you play it on a console (that genre is still not suitable for consoles, and probably won't be for a long time).

However, the game itself is not to be taken seriously... I mean, your units include armored bears with lasers attached to their backs and giant japanese robots. The entire game has that good B-movie vibe, the right kind of cheesy.

I couldn't help but having a big smile on my face during the entire intro movie.

From the point when you have a time machine, it basically give them a licence to reset the story again and again.

You just don't mess with the space time continium...

ya I know.... I still think that was one of the most dispointing sequels I bought. I mean I loved the other games red alert was the first strategy game I played on the playstation. Needless to say I became addicted o.o
