I was actually thinking about making a thread for this, but you beat me to it. Yeah I do it all the time.

I do almost all the time. I also get really tempted to read posts by people on my ignore list, but I can stay away from those somehow.
There's an Ignore function?
Yep. Click a user name, and it brings it up on the small menu thing. You never have to get annoying PMs every time they quote you, and when they have a post, it'll be blocked as if the message was hidden like when they get suspended or banned for that post.

Thank you, I never noticed that. Nice to know in case it should ever become necessary. I think I'd like to know what anyone I'd ever come to consider "hostile" did in regard to my posts though.

I do, and sometimes I don't understand why they did get banned or put on probation.

I do it as well, just out of curiosity. I don't really think that I need to, in order to avoid mod wrath, but I do it anyway.

I play a game where I look at what the thread it called, and I try and guess the post. It's fun!

Yeah, like when the first few posters in a ZP thread get banned, and sometimes they didn't do anything wrong, except be there first.

Whenever i'm reading through forums, and I see someone who has been banned/suspended/put on probation, I tend to go and look at the offending post.

So, does anybody else do this?
Every single time. It's funny to look at other peoples' fails, but it also gives me a better idea of what their posting habits are.

Always! It's like looking at your neighbours house when an unfamiliar car shows up.

...That's the same, right??

I do it. Because the only thing better than learning from your own mistakes, is learning from Other peoples' mistakes.

When it is someone I'm familiar with I wonder "now what shenanigans is that nice chap/lady been up to" and click.
