This would be way more entertaining if the girl was legitimately stupid and not just acting. It's kinda pointless to make fun of someone for being stupid when they are doing it intentionally, especially when that person is as bad an actor as she is.

I will admit that the guy in the video is a damn good narrator though.

Wouldn't the little booklet in the box introduce at least some of these concepts to her? How about the back of the box? What about typing "portal 2" into google, yahoo, dogpile, or any other search engine?

This is a fucking PUZZLE game with fucking PORTALS. Not only not everyone is good at puzzles, but geez, PORTALS! Portals don't even exist in the real world. Of course it takes people a while to get the idea.

I mean seriously, do you really consider the concept of walking back and forth through space-altering vortexes so INTUITIVE that EVERYONE needs to IMMEDIATELY understand it? Seriously? Than you're the idiot, not that lady.

And for the record, that puzzle IS NOT intuitive. This shouldn't be the first puzzle in the game. Portal 1 did a much better job explaining stuff.

I'm not expecting everyone to be able to complete the game easily but what I am expecting is that the people who can't do it don't record their attempts and put it on Youtube complete with annoying commentary just a week after the release of the game. She opens herself up to criticism by showing her performance for the world to judge.

And yes I think that after the first ten times someone does something unless they have the short term memory of a recently lobotomised goldfish they should remember how that thing works.

You press the button, a portal appears in the room behind that button, how is that puzzle not intuitive?

See above. I don't care if she sucks or not but she's asking people to judge her performance and that's what we're doing. It doesn't matter what someone's skills are but they shouldn't try to profit from their lack of skills and use their gender as a way of excusing it. If you think she isn't capitalising on her being a girl playing games and obviously only guys can be good at video games then you're just deluding yourself. She even bursts into song every 5 seconds, she's as subtle as a sledgehammer to the kneecaps.
