I think so, look at Dante's Inferno that is kind of a Bible game of sorts. No it wasn't actually in the Bible, but it is part of biblical canon I think (there is such a thing).

if the game is bad(offensive,bad sales,etc)it instantly becomes offensive.if it is good(sales wise,playability,unoffensive)it is bound to be called a sellout of the religion.no,it is not ever going to be possible to make a good bible game.end of discussion.

Oh my God... My dad always told me he wanted to make a minigame or something about that guy who killed about 144000 people in one night. I don't know what the angel's name was or anything, but imagine that? You have what? 12 hours in a night at best? 720 minutes. 43200 seconds at best. You'd have to kill at least 3 people a second.
