Is it too late to buy a PS3?

the ps4 will not be coming out anytime soon. whether or not you should get in to pc gaming depends on how much money you have to spare. pc gaming offers the best visuals and performance and with the option of mouse and keyboard or controller, it gives you the best control as well. the problem is that with pc gaming you get exactly what you pay for, meaning that you will have to spend a lot of money if you want to take advantage of all that pc gaming has to offer (that is assuming you dont currently have a decent pc for gaming)

Depends on the size of your ps3 game library you now have no access to but according to your post that doesn't even seem to be a factor to you so...

Wait for the next Playstation and then get 3. That makes sense to me...

If you can get the PS3 repaired then I'd suggest you do. My PS3 truly kicked the bucket a couple years ago and couldn't be fixed. I had a really good Gaming PC so I just moved onto gaming on that and have never looked back. I miss a few good PS3 games, but it's ok.
