Is it too late to get an xbox 360? If not, where's a good place to get a bargain?

I've been a dedicated ps3 player for several years now, but lately i've been looking for something new and i'd really like to get into the back log of xbox 360 games. However, my ps3 is possibly on its last leg, and if it dies i'll have to replace it because there's no way in hell i'm missing The Last of Us. Is the backlog of exclusives really worth it for the xbox or should i just wait for the next generation. Also, where's a reliable place to get a good one? Also, even though i pretty much know, what are some good games?

Also i'm not becoming a pc gamer so please don't tell me that haha

Pretty much anywhere, you can get the Normal Xbox 360 refurbished for a good price. Generally comes with a hard drive and a control.

I don't think the Xbox 360 is characterized by a ton of exclusives, but here are a few.

The Xbox 360 has:
Halo
Gears (meh)
Fable (meh)
Tales of Vesperia
Lost Odyssey
Crackdown (meh)
Forza
Condemned Criminal Origins (definitely worth a play through)
Alan Wake (meh)

That's about it, unless you are concerned about Kinect games.

Lol, thats a very accurate list of meh's and i wholeheartedly agree with you.

OP the xbox 360 is dirt cheap nowadays(60-100 english pounds) and a lot of the multiplatform games work better on it than the PS3 or PC. If your planning on playing multiplayer online though i would warn you in advance that xbox live is a complete rip-off and most of the games over 6 months old don't have any players left to compete with.

really i was just looking for Halo, gears, and a bunch of the live arcade games. Also left 4 dead is a pretty big one too. Thanks. If i just want to play a few games and maybe live, is the 4gb worth it?

If you're looking for Halo, one danger to watch out for with the 4gb is that Halo 4 is going to require an 8gb install for multiplayer. (However, a 360 will let you use a USB stick to this end.)

I have both the 360 and the PS3 and I think that the 360 is most certainly worth it (but then again, I prefer the 360 controller so non-exclusives get bought on the 360).

As for price, I don't know how it works outside 'merica (and your profile doesn't say where you're from) but we do have Black Friday coming up in just two months. If you can hold yourself back just a little bit more, it might be worth waiting for since I imagine retailers will be trying to unload a lot of this generation as next-gen is preparing to come forward.
